Fight Angry Squares : The actions RPG

Hi everibody,


I'm glad to present you my game projet for the Planet-Casio Challenge.
Let's start by a trailer ( in French, sorry ) :

This game is programming in C using the Casio fx-9860G Software Development Kit.
There is no picture of the game for the moment, i want to keep the suspense  [-.-]~

I can't give screeshot for the moment, but the game will be publish the 2 November. ( i hope  :banghead:  )

I can't wait for screenshots of the gameplay. I hope you can post some gameplay footage as well. :)

Can you share more info about the game, such as story, the graphical style, language and features or do you have to keep it secret until the contest deadline?

Anyway, i have a question, i'm searching for a syscall who allows to change the contrast of the screen. Any ideas ?

Yeah I know. Keep in mind that on Omnimaga, when people announce projects without giving enough info nor eye-candy, not many people bother replying. So until November 2nd you will probably not get many replies. :P

As for the syscall I don't know of any personally, but if Eiyeron or Siarpan shows up, maybe they might know since they do FX-9860G ASM/C.

Hey !

The description is in English, so i will try to describe it in English in some words.
In this RPG, you incarn a hero who must to save all the letter of the website : P-l-a-n-e-t-e C-a-s-i-o
To save them, you must to fight about squares and to develop your skills.


Control :


-REPLAY for move
- ALPHA for run
- SHIFT to attack
- OPTN to launch a sort
- MENU to pause, and then, EXIT to exit ( noooo really ? )


In the village :
F2 : Buy Life.
F3 : Upgrade your attack skills.
F3 : Upgrade your defense skills.


At the start of the game, you have the choice with 2 type of sort : "Feu" and "Regeneration" wich mean Fire and Life.
I advise you to choose "Regeneration" ;)

Ooh I like the graphics. :D is this compatible with SH3 hardware? I got an FX-9860G but it's not SH4 so some newer programs might not run.

I really want to give this a try soon since I like RPGs. :)

It sounds really cool, i'd like to see some screenshots of the game in action. I wish i had a fx-9860G to test this out, i love RPGs, too.

And DJ: I assume that you can use it on an SH3 device:
