I tried connecting it with different cables and computers to no avail, which points the problem to the calculator itself. I haven't see this happen to other people, so I can't find a fix online. Anyone have any idea how I should tackle this problem?

Have you checked the device manager to see if your computer just doesn't know what drivers to load for the calculator?

Definitely did. Something in the calculator is broken, which I need to fix. Opened iit up but didn't notice anything wrong though.

Hi, I am new to the forum. I couldn't find a way to create new post. So, replying to this post. Sorry for that.

I have fx-9750GII, upgraded from OS 02.00.0000 to OS 02.00.0200 and got natural display.
Then, I updated it to OS 02.01.0700, but lost the natural display after update.

I was trying to get natural display (trying to flash OS 02.01.0200 SH3), but often get "OS not identifiable! Start bootcode OS update manually and try again" displayed on the screen.

Please help me in getting the Natural display on my Fx-9750GII.

I have spent ages trying to upgrade from 9750 to the 9860
i have the  2.00.0700
Need the surds, the natural layout and the math input and the backup

My main problem is finding the 9860 file
Can anyone send me a copy please  !!!
I think it should end in . g1m but have visited so many sites that i'm  confused

Would be easier if Casio charged a small fee for the update
Seems very wasteful and ungreen to replace  a good calculator because it doesn't have the maths which is vital in A levels and degrees
I already bought it to replace the Casio 82  because i thought it could do more but in this respect it does a lot less.
