Title: Instructables Userscript
Post by: Sorunome on October 03, 2013, 04:23:41 am
So yeah, some of you may have wondered why i've been programming so much recently, but faaaar more than you guys actually noticed, beause i never talked about the other stuff here yet....

So yeah, for those of you who have an account on instructables.com, this is going to be awesome: I made a userscript for it with tons of features, like bringing back the old-style comment trees and much more. It features also a edit menu, it stores everything in local storage.
What is also nice that it auto-checks for updates and gives you a pop-up if there are.

Anyways, that beside, here is the script: http://pastebin.com/PeqfkGMF

Don't judje me on my crappy coding :P/me judjes himself now ^^

Anyways, so that's it for now.

oh, i totally forgot, piiiics:

Commnet trees return :D

Highlighting on a screenie orange text with red doesn't make much sence...

Nope, this thing is not dead.
I added some new features, the hardest part though is that isntructables' software is so crappy, like they have multiple elements with the same ID (really?)

Is that possible? How ugly! What are coding with?

Anyway I started to like uscripts, I'll give your scripts a try!

I am using tampermonkey :P
And yeah, that multiple ID thing is quite a issue if you want to fetch elements based on the id -.-

Oh lol. Aren't there any Knex forums out there ? How 'bout Omnimaga gets a Knex subforum and we lure this community here ? >:D

There is a knex forum dedicated to knex rollercoasters, but over on instructables you get higher activity on misc knex stuff, like ball machines ;)
(even though my ball machine still gets over here on omni the highest activity)
