Cool progress.  The Continue function probably shouldn't be too hard, just kind of the opposite of the save routine, right?

There are 10 types of people in this world-- those that can read binary, and those that can't.

well, sort of, it will also have to use the expr( command to store to a list.

Well... How to say this... I am terribly unhappy with the current saving system, and will most likely be just as unhappy with the speed of the continue system. To remedy this, I am going to rewrite the save syste yet again, but this time, I have an idea worth exploring :)smile.gif

each pokemon will have their own individual list. the 6 party pokemon will be saved to individual lists, while anything > than 6 will be stored to the PC boxes, just like in the original. This way, I won't have any problem with needing hundreds of lists, and a person can catch 2 of one type of pokemon. :)smile.gif

So, I will see about getting this set up, and this will hopefully cut saving time down to just a few seconds, instead of 2 minutes... -.-blah.gif

yeah, it's good to see you've found a better way to do something (and i guess a few seconds is better than a 2 minutes... i guess). I can't wait for more updates.

Yeah, I wont be saving near the amount of data I was before. And I won't have to unarchive huge lists to get just one little piece of data, as all I need for each pokemon will be right there in one list.

I hope to have lots of time on my hands tonight and get something done on it. I have everything wrote out on paper at the moment, so hopefully that will make things easier.

Celtic 2 (linked to above) allows basic programmers to store data and recall data from a program or appvar. I am going to use programs to store the data, and if a pokemon is deposited and withdrawn, then I will manipulate the data as I need to.
