It seems my use of CELTIC2 in xPegz has popularized it with hybrid basic programmers.  ^_^  Or maybe it's just CELTIC2...

Anyways, good luck tifreak!

Heh, I was convinced by Iambian :Ptongue.gif

Well, I managed to get the "New Lists" program complete, now down to 273 bytes instead of the 800 bytes it used to be. Also saved 150 bytes by getting rid of all the lists and freeing up room in the VAT.

I have also decided that I can have up to 35 pokemon per PC box, though it might be better to just have 30 per box, and have 7 boxes, which would give room for 210 pokemon, plus the 6 party pokemon.

Any thoughts?

Just to keep up the good work! :thumbup:google.gif

Wow, you shaved 527 bytes off of a loading program, that is probably going to speed things up!

Well, saving the 6 pokemon party lists, with numbers as triple digits, caused the program to be 744 bytes in size. I still have a few more lists to add in, but this is looking far more encouraging than the 20k the saved data was taking up before...

Why I like the look of that. That's really clean and polished.

There are 10 types of people in this world-- those that can read binary, and those that can't.

wow that charmander is a beast, other than that, you seem to have a bit of space in the middle, perhaps you could alternate listing pkmn levels, the level is really the only thing lacking in the screenie.

maybe like this or something:

That looks pretty good, but the only thing is, I am going to have the cursor in the middle to select the pokemon. If I do like you have it, I will have no room to put a cursor in.

I made this. It's obviously based on the GBA games. The left pokemon has a ton more space (even some left for special conditions), since it is the most important in battle. I included space for the cursor and level, the whole thing takes only 6 Line( Commands to draw.

EDIT: note that in this screenshot, I am selecting both the first and the fourth pokemon. This is because i had to come up with a different method of selection for the left pokemon, there is no room for the cursor anymore. Normally, the bars are all 1px.

hmm, that is pretty good, and it does give you the ability to show the lvl and have a cursor. I guess it's all up to tifreak.

I'm also guessing charmander is the longest name out of all the pokemon... just a guess <_<dry.gif

I made a comprimise, removing the HP amount, leaving the bar, and replaced it with status effects and lvl.

Charmander is 1 of 10 that have a 10 char name, which is the longest given.
