Weregoose had some splendid ideas, one of them being unintentional. The unintentional one was adding an exclamation mark next to a box that had low hp or has a status effect.

The other you can see in these screenshots:

First revision of the screen:

Then adding an extra space between the boxes, removing the extra space that was added above the hp bar:

And then adding another space inbetween the boxes from the last one:

Just kinda lookin for opinions on them, so far it is unanimous to go with the middle pic...

hmm, yeah i'd have to agree, the middle one is my fav mostly because there is too much "space" in the last one.

hmm yeah, it is nice, but there is so much unused space in yours (doesn't make it a bad thing though). It's just somewhat plain i guess. great work though :thumbup:

While the idea is good, it makes the right side look cramped compared to the left side. I have most of the coding done to display the middle screenshot above, just have to add in the possible status effects.

Anyone want to take a crack at making a static image I can use for the 2 or 3 pages that are used to deal with the pokemon in detail?? I won't be doing the location they can be found at, at least not yet.

Oh, and currently the program takes up 337 bytes in RAM to create the boxes and display the text and fill the boxes.

It shouldn't take much more to make the status displays come up.

lol, its ok, I am gonna see what the original looks like, and if it has borders/lines, add in the borders that I am currently using.

Oh my gosh you should make an engine out of this code because Pokemon Purple definetly seems like something BASIC programmers would like to take control of in there own games. It would be sweet I know that.

Well, here they are, I made 3 to show how, just by manipulating the PRTY list, you can set up the pokemon in the order you want. Of course, that will work within the game, I just have to program that.
