Well, I dont have many screenshots for the Pokemon, yet. I will of course create a page for them, when I get around to it. As of right now, however, I thought I would go ahead and let you know about progress that is being made on it.
I have Pokemon #1-10 complete, and getting ready to start on the next one. Progress on the sprites have increased because of a handy program I made called Sprite2Hex (
http://omnimaga.dyndns.org/index.php?showtopic=385&st=0last
) (
http://www.calcgames.org/cgi-bin/files/files.cgi?ID=1172
)
This took the nearly 50 minutes (usually 40) for Pokemon converting, and took it down to roughly 10 minutes to create a sprite. Hopefully, I will be able to make all the sprites in a very short time.

heh, I should be well on my way to a demo, or have one out already, before I need to judge them entries. Besides, I might even just shoot to have it done, before next summer...
Pokemon #13 (Weedle) has been completed. More to be completed tommorrow.

Got 3 more Pokemon finished. I have decided that once I get to Pokemon #30, I will take a small break and finish up the items system, at least as far as I can get until I get all the Pokemon data and pics put in.

oh, heck no. lol, I am FAR from a battle system.
Here is another image though:
This image is of one of the pokemon. Once I get time, I am going to post a page with all the Pokemon images posted up. Until then, this should be a good enough preview of what I am doing. And yes, that is an image of it being worked on in Sprite2Hex.
Edit: New screenie:

Nice work. But there is one thing I don't understand, 83 Basic Programmers:
How do you store sprites that you programs are going to use? Do You store them in lists, or Pic1-9 files.

i think he store them in hexadecimal in strings, not the fastest but small. Some ppl uses lines and pixel commands tho, much faster but it can become very very huge. That applies to pure basic programmers tho as xlib programmers can use xlib to recall sprites from pictures
oh and some ppl use two ASCII character together to make sprites as well like in war of mmruda (what happened to this RPG?)
