Thanks!

What I really need... is some people (or place with people) to kinda just talk about ideas for the game now.
My main concern is space really... but also, ideas aren't flowing very well through myself alone.

Rawr... there is a topic in a sub-forum to be made later.

Also, on the music thing... thanks even more!
I have else confidence in my music abilities so hearing good things means a lot. =D

Well, there's certain criteria.
(DJ Omnimaga can explain that himself, if he chooses to)

I'll admit, I had a bit of an advantage by knowing him for awhile.
Though, meeting all the criteria and being skilled in all the things that Omnimaga (the site itself) is about helped a lot too.

It helps me find things occasionally... but I don't go there often.

Now... a site I'm addicted to is: http://icanhascheezburger.com/

Thanks much, Omnimaga! =D

I'm also working on a secret 2D MMORPG (for the computer obviously)
More information on that later though. ^_^

(EDIT: Oh... and Nyaar will be fully graphical later. ;P
Battle system, dungeons, etc.
I'm just worried about space at this point. O.o)

Haha, of course not.
I love you guys too much.

But I won't be programming/music making for a little while.
(Gotta cut my addiction to video games...)

Oddly enough, it wasn't til 2007 that I knew there was a calculator programming community.
All I knew is that I was the only programmer in my school and am the best among the ones who started programming there by far.

Though, hopefully I can convert some friends to calc programming.
They enjoy the idea of programming, it's just sometimes they can be lazy... very lazy.

Well... last Friday (24th?) I got a hold of Fable II. (amazing game btw)
I've almost beaten it 3 times already too.
When I'm not at school, I'm playing that (or on here, whether or not I can find anything to post about)
Well, tomorrow, I'm getting ahold of Fallout 3 as well.

Don't think I'll be doing a lot of programming/music making for awhile. x_x

In my final edit, I added a showcaseyourmusic page.
It's here.

Also, I'm now updating my website.

Hm... I really like the whole friends/favorite artist thing so I'll stay where I am for the moment.
But I'll keep that site in mind. =D

I'm working on another video game remix now.
Just having trouble with finishing it up. (might have to scrap my current progress and restart)

(EDIT: Well, I remixed an entirely different song while thinking of ideas. Here you go!
{E} Puyo Puyo - Intermission with Remix)

(EDIT2: OMG almost a remix! I can't think of enough stuff to put in to make it one... so I'll count this one as a cover.
{E} Columns - Clothos Cover)

(FINAL EDIT: It's come to my attention that you can only hear 30 seconds previews on Imeem if you're not registered. So, I've added an alternative to you lazy people. Here.)

Thanks a LOT mate.
That means something coming from you. =D

Alright, I have a new site for sharing my music now.
Imeem Profile
Imeem Playlist

Also, I have a new song. It's a remix of a Fable song (can't remember name right now).
Anyway, here's it is.

Wow... you really don't have the attention span for complicated programming languages. =P
RPG Maker is the simplest you can get, though, from the looking of it... you've taken a few extra steps.

I'm looking forward to another game to play soon. I'm kinda getting peeved at Fable II.
Keep it up, mate. ^_^

(P.S. <Just interesting information> I'm making an 2D MMORPG at the moment. Well, I started on it. I used a program a lot like RPG Maker called Eclipse. Though, I went through the loops to learn VB so I could edit the engine to my will. I'll probably post about it later. Hopefully, I can get the project helped with by Omnimaga [the site, not person] when I get the spare time again.)

Hey! I remember this from the old forums. Nice to see you're still working on it. Previous demo was all BASIC if i remember right. Ill give this a look when i get a chance. Oh and welcome to the new forums BTW ^_^.

Yeah, all basic. I believe I had the xLIB version up not too long after... but even then it's all basic at heart. =P
Anyway, I'm not sure what I should get done next...
On the immediate list of things to do, I have the following:
  • Fully graphical battle system. (main issue here is making the sprites, which, despite making all the one for the town, is really difficult for me)
  • Abilities for classes
  • Reworking of the stats system, make it slightly more complicated and capable of more customization.
  • Graphical dungeon-like areas with random encounters instead of the current set-up.
  • Weapons and armor (might never be implemented, depends on how the abilities and stats work out later)
  • Quests (definitely needed to be added after the graphical dungeons)
I'll be adding this list to the first post now.

Looks nice for what's done at the moment. I like what I'm seeing. Can't wait to see if Celtic III will render it the same way Smiley

( if you're wondering what Celtic III is, inquire within)
No clue what that is... but glad to know that my current work is now a standard for another's! =D
