7002: You seriously thought about bringing your calculator for a car trip, and then did it. (true story)
7003: You think "ClrHome" but say "Clear Home". (true story)
7004: The very first thing you think of when you think of theta is the theta variable on the TI-8x and the way it's displayed on the CSE. (true story)

Excepting Full, there's nothing Axe provides that doesn't work on 83+s.
I was talking about a BASIC command, but thanks for telling me anyway, that will help!

Good news overall, but why wouldn't it be 83+-compatible ?
Sorry, I was at music camp. I'm waiting to see how it runs or if I need a certain command for it to work, or something.

When chatting on one channel using Omnom, and switching to another channel, when someone sends a message, it appears in the channel that was recently switched to. Switching again gets rid of the "phantom post".

Can somebody please check if that expanding bug on safari mobile, i think, still exists? Because I did some fix on something I thought that might be the issue
(Sorunome already knows this, I'm just posting for archival of the bug and for conversation reasons)
Yes, it still does exist. It doesn't work on Puffin Mobile, even on iPhone mode, which is curious. I have yet to try mobile Chrome, though.

When I was writing down some ideas for Source Seekers Battle, I thought that some of those could be added. So, when I get back from Band Camp, expect these things to be added:

*Multiple save files
*Naming your character
*More secrets
*Configurable Keys
*Optimizations

So, I'm back from band camp. I'm sorry to say that character naming and configurable keys will not be able to work due to my need to study text engines and the On button. I'm still working on the multiple save files and other things. Here's the changelog for 1.3:

Changelog V1.3:
*Added secret "delete save" button (on home menu, hit 0)
*Added ingame method of skipping intro sequence. Press anything other than On or Enter to skip the intro. (Yes, DJ O, this is finally in!)
*Actually fixed bug in lvl 9
*Rewrote some text to make sense
*Removed need for having the 5th variable in LSSAVE
*Huge code optimizations (10770 -> 10695 bytes, a 75 byte difference)

Uploaded.

TI Z80 / [Axe] Source Seekers Battle (TI-83+ & up)
« on: July 27, 2014, 03:35:45 pm »
Thanks to Streetwalrus, I have decided to remake Source Seekers in Axe. There will be many improvements and new features, so be sure to check it out! Some or most of these additions will also make their way into the BASIC version as well!
(Just so that everyone gets it... Battle Axe, since it's in Axe and it's called "Battle")
Regarding the platform range, it will stay 83+ unless I need a BASIC command only on the 84.

Spoiler For Planned Features:
Planned Features:

Faster Speed & Optimized Engine
The engine will be super smooth and will take up less space both on lines and in bytes. Source Seekers Battle will include much faster gameplay, which the original wasn't capable of!

Configurable Keys
Now, you will be able to bind any action to any key you want! Do you want to shoot your bow with "On"? Well, that can't happen. How about "5" instead?

More Levels and Secrets
More levels will be added after the main storyline, and there will be tons of secrets to discover. There may even be a tournament system after you beat the game!

More Overall Content
More enemies, puzzles, abilities, weapons and more coming soon! Enjoy everything from fighting spiky enemies to shooting a bow to teleporting around the screen!

Multiple Save Files
Now, you can save multiple games! Instead of starting over and losing your gear, why not just make a new save? If you make a new save, how are you to tell them apart?

Character Customization
That's right! Ever wanted to be a Pi symbol? Now you can! Ever wanted everyone to call you "Shorty"? No, me neither. But, you can do it anyway, now that you can name your characters and equip them with the finest gear and armor you've ever seen!

Larger Map Screens
Tired of the confines of one screen per level? Now, there can be multiple screens per level!

Not trying to beat a dead horse or anything, but just as a question, how hard was THE GAME?
* 123outerme runs

Seriously, I don't have a real opinion an anything Source Seekers. Since I programmed it, I know how to solve every puzzle, beat every enemy, etc.
I found the difficulty not too bad, except of course that aforementioned enemy that was very hard to beat :P.

By the way, since I was busy I didn't have time yet to try the latest versions, but do they let you skip the A TILDA^3 PRODUCTIONS logo animation?

I haven't been working on anything, since I've been too busy. Storing any number to K has been there for a while, but other than that, not much.

Bump

How are the DLC packs going?

EDIT we might as well celebrate the completion of this project
!peanuts
The DLC packs haven't been started yet, I have been very busy with sailing camp (it really knocks the wind out of you!) and lots of activities this summer. I will work on them when I have some free time, but for now, they are on hold. ._.

6957: You are infamous at another forum for being a calc addict.
6958: You noticed that the last two words of the above sentence is close to "calc maniac".

See? I still got it XI
(that is an emoticon, not an acronym)

343
It depends of the amount of features I guess, plus if the extremely long intro logo animation can be skipped by pressing a key :P
It can be skipped if you input "1 -> K" on the homescreen before running it, but I could make it have you input something before the draw, but after running the game.

That's what I was talking about (and did a long time ago) and just now, I got notified for this topic.
So you removed the notification from your list of topics to notify from? The first checkbox doesn't relate to the topic notifications. That one is for emails that admins would send out to everybody. If you want to disable notifications for a topic you would have to remove that topic specifically. You would also have to disable the second checkbox to stop it from automatically adding new topics to the list.
Ohhh.
