If it helps I was running Nover with the CPU set to 256 MHz and the AHB at approx 63 MHz. Nover was malfunctioning, It was in the startup folder but my overclocks were only taking effect when I opened the program, and even then the changes were only temporary.

I was experimenting with the Ti-84+ emulator for Ti-Nspire CX and I was transferring a rom file using the student software and my calc rebooted. It got about halfway before a exclamation point appeared in the lower left hand corner and it said "System Error". I tried removing the OS using the maintenance menu but I got the same error. Can someone tell me what is happening and how I can fix it? If I can I would like to keep my files intact as I don't want to loose my stuff .

I would say that the 60 FPS is overclocked. I tried playing this game when my calculator was overclocked to 252 MHz for the CPU and 65 MHz for the AHB and I got around 57-59. When I opened the FPS meter at the start of the game ,it briefly spiked all the way up to 89 FPS.
Also, is it just me or does one of those screenshots show an FPS of 206? 0.0

Someone could try writing an emulator for Linux for Nspire. Then you could just port a linux emulator.

Am I supposed to be getting 60 FPS on a Ti-Nspire CX? I only seem to be getting about 48. I have the latest version (0.3.0).

I definitely ran hide.tns and i found its "hidden" folder using Ndless Commander so I know its working. I just have like 400 files...

I tried that, it didn't speed it up that much. Probably because I have WAY too many files.

Would anyone be willing to actually make this? If so could it have an options menu where you can turn it off? (Just in case of conflicts with other ndless apps)

It may be possible to make a background ndless program that takes control of file saving. Instead of re-scanning each time, the program could keep a small database that would contain all the information already. When ever you entered the My Documents screen it would query the database instead of re-scanning. The program would only update the database when it detected that a file had been changed, and then it would only update the file that has been changed. Dunno how it would handle ndless programs file saving though. Please tell me if this would work, I'm new to Ti-Nspire /Ti-Nspire CX development.

I was wondering how the Ti-Nspire / Ti-Nspire CX accesses files when you open the document screen. Does it keep an up to date "database" of files and their file sizes or does it re-scan the file sizes and locations every time?
If the Ti-Nspire / Ti-Nspire CX re-scans every time, maybe it would be possible to create a ndless 3.1 program that would take control and make it so people with a lot of files can quickly open their My Documents folder.
Just an idea.

Maybe instead of compiling it for Ndless it could be programmed for tangrs Linux port for nspire? Then you could use C++.

For the file browser how about talking to hoffa about somehow integrating either Ndless Commander into nTxt or nTxt into Ndless Commander? There is source code so you could play around with it for a bit.

It could be possible to make a "package" of all the files you need (including ffmpeg) and use a batch file to start the process. You would just put the file you want to convert in a certain folder or give it a certain name and open the batch file. If you want I could make the batch file as I have experience with batch files.

what about using the USB port on the Nspire to connect to the ardino?

Maybe it would be possible to just send analog signals directly to some sort of speaker? like a laptop USB speaker. Maybe it would be possible to make a custom sound device using an ardino?
