TI Calculators / Re: Overclocking with OS 4.2 TI-nspire CX CAS

Nover very likely works just fine. Nover uses the calculator's hardware directly, so the OS version shouldn't matter too much. However, I don't know how overclockable new hardware revisions are. I know the early CXs could overclock a lot, but I don't know about the new ones. You'll probably be able to get at least some boost, though.

Thank you very much. It got stuck in a bootloop the first time probably because I misunderstood something. But all it took was a complete shut off and turn on. I installed Ndless upon startup and Nover started doing its thing. It ended up crashing at 252 and went back to 234 "stable" for now. Works just fine and I can see the difference, especially in games. Thank you for your reply! :)

TI Calculators / Overclocking with OS 4.2 TI-nspire CX CAS
« on: February 26, 2016, 08:33:17 am »
Hi.

I recently got the TI-nspire CX CAS. I got NESpire to work with games but it seems a bit laggy. Also I feel like the calculator could be faster overall.
I looked into overclocking, but all I can find is Nover3 and nowhere does it say if this supports OS 4.2.0.532.

Does anyone know how to overclock with OS 4.2.0.532 or do I have to downgrade in order to OC?

Thank you in advance,
Alex
