TI Calculators / need help to getting NSnandmgr boot mode to change to boot 2 diag

I have a TI Nspire CX version a load with 3.6 OS. I followed the tutorial at TI-Planet and got stuck at step B8. When is tried to change the boot order to boot2 diag, I get error of  "boot data invalid: reset and try again. press a key" and the boot order does not change. The OS area are blank. the boot 1 is 3.0.0.99 and the boot 2 is 3.2.4.7. Please help me get this to work so I can load the switchpack.
