Just my introduction, new member here.  I've only programmed calculators in basic before, but I am an EE with 20+ years experience programming microcontrollers in assembly. I feel sorry I never learned C or any of its derivatives, as it seems to be prevalent everywhere, but can't stomach the syntax  I need to get over that. I've used TI-83+, 84+, 89 and many Casios, including cg10.
