TI Calculators / Think I just screwed up
« on: December 24, 2014, 01:10:22 pm »
OK, like others, I just got the nspire (normal) instead of ordering the CAS version. I followed the instructions for reloading the OS and everything seemed to go fine unitl I got to the "install your OS" part.
I was following this: https://www.omnimaga.org/general-calculator-help/installing-cas-on-ti-nspire-cx-non-cas/ (Post #13)
During that time it is looking for the ".tco" extension.
2 things: Would changing the "phoenix.tns" to the .tco extension help me any?
Also, Boot1 is 3.0.0.99, Boot2 3.2.4.7 and last of serial number is P-1213M. After doing some additional reading, I'm thinking that the serial number part is what is going to get me.
Any ideas of getting CAS onto it, or at least getting back to stock?
Thanks.
