Computer Projects and Ideas / XP Maintenance 3.2 Announced
« on: May 12, 2010, 10:10:51 am »
Ok here is the synopsis. Don't want to seem like a jerk, I've already pretty much acted like one here anyway. And I say sorry too much.
But back to the idea:
I am officially announcing the development of XP Maintenance 3.2. This is the first time batch will no longer be used for ANYTHING. I felt it was too much of a hassle for the idea of a simple computer maintenance program. So an array of programming languages were put on the table to replace batch files, and Visual Basic.net was selected due to how easy it is to code in VB.net. There have been a few setbacks in this new release, but development is nearing completion. The preliminary release date for Beta 1 is Saturday May 15, 2010 at 7:00 PM. If the date changes for any reason, I will post here to let you guys know. Project information and downloads can be found at http://www.xpmaintenance.com/ or http://www.joldzic.net/. Please give feedback when I release, my feedback form has returned very limited results. Thank you, and my apologies if I seemed arrogant at any time in this posting, it's the morning, I am not thinking straight. Once again, thank you.
