Hello. I am trying to create a piece of music that utilizes violin harmonics. I have Finale Allegro 2007, and I can place the little diamond shape over the notes, but they don't sound any different. As there is approximately e^(πi)+1 chance that I will get this recorded by real musicians, does anyone know how to get the playback to sound right?

Answer: EDIT: And the alt-text: There's also a Katamari level where everything is just slightly bigger than you, and a Mario level with a star just out of reach.

Lookee what I found! There is no way that could be a coincidence...

Before I put out a ridiculous request, I wanted to know the skill level of the artists here in drawing sketches and stuff. So, like, for example, drawing a realistic-looking person. If something like this is reasonable, I'll post my request here, otherwise, this topic can be deleted.

So, I was looking around my school's cross country website, and I stumbled across a pdf of a workout chart, and one of the names struck me. Here is the site. Look on the right side, under D7. Could it be possible? Could Joe Wingbermuehle have gone to my high school?

After looking at the 1000th+posters thread, I noticed something weird about the Google search for "recursion" Search it and you will see a Google spelling suggestion "Did you mean recursion?" Apparently Google can't read.
EDIT: If you click on the suggestion, it links you back to the same spot. (Wait for it...)

Since so many people seem to have eggs now, I thought I start a topic about them. You can post about the different types of dragons, exclamations of joy when your dragon hatches/matures, etc. I would also like to compile a list of "rules" about the dragons/eggs here in this post. Feel free to make suggestions. 1. Don't have >9000 (or even 20) eggs in your sig. Chances are some of them will die, and no one wants to spend that much time clicking. 2. You absolutely, under any circumstances may not link the eggs to a rickroll (yunhua ) It just makes people not want to click them. EDIT: What Yunhua did is fine. Just make sure its very clear that it's a rickroll. 3. Kind of like number one. Eggs need to hatch and hatchlings need to mature, but you don't really need to click on the full grown dragons. You can have more dragons, if you wish. (Just don't go overboard) EDIT: Apparently clicking on dragons is still a good thing, though. Oh, and The Game. EDIT: Ooh, my last egg hatched. Cool, it's a protector dragon EDIT 2: Another one hatched! EDIT 3:All of them are hatched. They look cool. Can't wait to see what they look like when they grow up...

I clicked on one of graphmastur's dragon eggs, and look what I found. Apparently they aren't as cute and innocent as we all thought....

This is not an announcement of a new project. It is simply a suggestion for a port of a really cool game. I would do it when I finish Imagination Quest, but I don't really have enough experience with Axe (and absolutely none in ASM), so I won't be working on this. Anywho, the game is an online game called Exit Path, which can be found here. It is a very fun platformer game, but can be quite difficult at times. (I've beaten it twice, though. ) It looks reasonable enough to be able to be ported, and I just wanted to let anyone with enough time/experience know about it.

Hold on, its not letting me attach anything....
Weird...I still can't
Well, anyway, I have a screenshot of the Latest Post page, and instead of DJ Omnimaga, it reads, 13Error 500 - Internal Server Error.

I am experiencing very strange backup issues. After backing up everything except for Apps onto my computer, I was going to make a screenshot in Wabbitemu. There is a bug with TI Connect (or maybe with my calc) that won't allow me to do this, but there is a way around it, using sourcecoder. Unfortunately, windows explorer crashed as soon as I opened it. Then, when I actually tried using windows explorer (not through sourcecoder), it opened fine, but once I reached a certain point in scrolling down, it crashed. I am very lost and confused. Is there a corrupted file in the backup or something? I know it's not a program (because windows explorer didn't crash when I opened it in Wabbit), so it has to be something else.

I was thinking the other day (which is always a bad sign ), and I came up with an idea for a really cool gaming system. We have virtual reality stuff (I've never actually used this, but...) And we have the Wii. put one and one together and you get: totally awesome games where you actually run around, etc. It would be like Wii (physically active and stuff), but so much cooler.

I started this project for whenever I need to take a break from the first Imagination Quest.
The idea here is that there are multiple "rooms" each with their own puzzle. Some will be platform-style, other rooms may be top-down. It uses the shifted dual-layer method for graphics.
There isn't too much implemented, yet. The screenshot below shows the gravity-flip feature, which will be included in some rooms. (Also, for some reason, Wabbit would not let me send the awesome title screen program to the emulator.)

Hello, I am trying to write a bit of code to simulate a character jumping. I have done that. Now what I want to do is have a way to reverse gravity when the user presses a button. So the character will "fall" up and land on the ceiling. I have only partially succeeded in this. Hitting the button causes the character to float upward (or downward) until it is three spaces away from the floor/ceiling, and then it skips the next two spaces and lands. I have been staring at my code and for some reason, cannot see the problem. Help, please?
Also, here is my code (part of it came from meishe's jumping code)
ClrHome 7->X:Ans->S //X is actually the Y coord., and S is the initial Y coord. that you jumped from 1->Y:Ans->B //Y is the X coord. ,and B is either positive or negative one, depending on if the gravity is reversed Delvar ARepeat 0 //A controls whether you move up, down, or not at all getKey->K If Ans or A!=0 Text(-1,7X,6(Y-1),"_ //one space Y+(K=26)-(K=24 Ans-15((Ans=16)-not(Ans->Y X-BA->X A-2(X=(S-B3->A If X=S DelVar A If not(A X->S B-2(K=31 and B=1)+2(K=31 and B=-1->C If B!=C:Then -1->A C->B If B=-1 1->S If B=1 7->S End Text(-1,7X,6(Y-1),"X A+(K=21 and X=S->A rand(8 End
I realize this isn't very optimized. That will be fixed.

So, I'm making a game in pure BASIC with dual-layer characters, and in it, the main character picks up a gun. I could add right/left flipping to look cool, but I'm not sure what combos to use. EDIT: Whoops, forgot to add, I'm using turn-by-turn RPG battles, so a flipping sprite to see gun direction isn't crucial. EDIT 2: And the game is a top down view, so no jumping or anything, either. Option 1: No flipping, but that means a cool sprite for holding the gun. Option 2: Same starting sprite, but flipping, using the Pt-on(X,Y,3 to get the little cross Option 3: Regular X for starting sprite, then the following for flipping (also using the pt-on cross) If you have other ideas, please post them!
