Ditching the aging, bulky case is good, as is ditching the ancient Z80, but the RAM/ROM amounts are pretty sad - thankfully the CPU /was/ more important, but still. I'm glad it's better than the CSE, but they should never have made the CSE and should have made this calc and called it the "CSE".
Maybe "CGE"?

Back here because of the CE.
I agree with the case design, and the improvements made seem promising and I might eventually get one of my own. However, the arrow keys look less ergonomic. And given the similar cost to the 84+(C)SE, the processor should be z80 or perhaps eZ80 or 68k; using ARM would justify a much higher price.

Not yet, I think.

New update is here, with bugfixes ($:hask()) and new features (such as disabling automatic value copying).

I can't believe I made the final round. It's possible that I might win something

Also, TI-Basic really needs first-class functions. And first-class everything, in fact. And the calculators need moar RAM.
I would be ecstatic if somebody came out with a calculator that had LISP. A Scheme would be preferable (like Chichen or Racket), but any real LISP would be awesome.
Maybe I can make one for the TI-89. (also, the zeroes on the TI-89 look like b00bs)

On a side note, cumSum gotta have the worst TI-BASIC command name of all time (I already brought that NSFW joke up before, but yeah the name looks a bit questionable)
Maybe TI thought that students using that calculator would not be familiar yet with that stuff so they didn't mind using a dirty command name
Then again, how are you gonna shorten "cumulative" in another way?

i always thought a numtostring command should've been implemented in the os but it's not (yay symbolic ) why isn't it exactly?
I don't know, ask TI.
