Hello binly !
If you only use your nspire for ndless then you should stick with 3.1.
The reason why is because you will have more free RAM, it's a tad faster and it will also overclock a bit better.
If you still want to play the latest LUA games though, then you should probably dualboot your calc.

Hey guys,
I've been gone awhile, so I am a little out of it. I pretty much stopped doing calc stuff when somehow my nspire OS corrupted, but I did eventually get it back to 3.1.0.392. Now though, there are a lot of different versions! Should I upgrade to something like 3.6 or just stay where I'm at? Or is there a dual boot with 3.6 / 3.1 like there was with 3.1 and 3.2?

I had heard the Bach company sold refurbished calculators? That's probably why you had such problems with them.

I have an nspire CX with hardware revision I and have been using ndless for months now. It came with 3.2.3 I believe

I've been playing this game a lot recently and I've come across a few bugs while playing, other than the movement bugs.
1. A lot of the time in conversation, instead of the text being displayed, it will display something another character said earlier (like it kept saying what the aunt said earlier or that your hands were full instead of the actual conversation).
2. After winning battles, the items you get from winning are terribly hard to see as they list on top of each other, disappear quickly, aren't all translated, and some are even in black text (I think that's just when you level up though or learn a move).

Well, actually nope. Everything worked fine for a day, I was able to get all my files back on the calc. Also nover is set to a much safer 234 Mhz. But it's now giving me the same error.

I actually got 260MHz working, but then for some Lua games it would crash on my CX CAS. But wow was it fast xD

Hey guys! So my nspire CX CAS was working great before. I was using nLaunch to dual boot it with 3.1 as well as 3.2.3. However, my 3.1 OS got messed up somehow, and I had to reinstall it as well as run a NAND check to get it to work. This made my nLaunch not work (when I pressed the reset button after changing phoenix.old to phoenix nothing happened this time). So then I deleted it and installed nLaunch again, and that works fine, then I upgraded my ndless to the latest version by replacing the ndless resources file. That seems to work as now Nover 3 works, where it gave an error before about the wrong ndless version. However, now I cannot transfer any .tns file to my calc  . Every time I do it says "the transfer can not be completed because the handheld file or folder could not be accessed". I just know that with all my OS/nLaunch reinstalls I messed it up somewhere, so any help to get my calc working would be appreciated. Oh and btw, everything else works on the calc that's already there, and I've tried the student software and the computer link! xD thanks!

For those with the same issue, could you please check whether the following alternative procedure found by simonsimons34 works for you?
- Hold the the following keys at boot time: Esc+Menu+Minus
- This brings the diagnostics menu. Then run the NAND tests (I don't know which option it is)
- Exit the diags software. The OS will hopefully boot normally.
I just would like to thank you as this worked for me when my calc was stuck after I had to reset it running Linux since it wouldn't close.

I honestly think Ocarina of Time is impossible to beat, every time I reach the water temple somehow I open the wrong door with a key and I have to restart my whole game. This has happened three times now.. -.-
