Ich glaube ich kenne dich sogar von MobiFiles, oder (der mit dem Aichi RPG)? :D
Momentan will ich auch ein RPG starten (etwas in die Richtung Final Fantasy/Lufia), aber wahrscheinlich in Axe, weil TI-Basic dafür irgendwie zu langsam ist.

Well, also thanks for your greetings. And for all the others:
I'm going to work on a RPG (something like Final Fantasy or Lufia). But propably not in TI-Basic, because Axe is faster.

Hi, I'm new in this community, male and 14 years old. I'm interested in music, videogames and programming. I'm good in the following languages:
  • HTML & CSS (no real programming languages, I know)
  • PHP & MySQL
  • JavaScript
  • C++
  • TI-Basic
  • a little bit Axe
By the way, my favourite bands are Rise Against, Yellowcard, blink-182, Three Days Grace, Thousand Foot Krutch and others.
Well, and sorry for my bad english, because I'm German and especially my grammar is sometimes very bad. ;D

My first big program was a kind of "Bot". Awesome but also crap: The idea was good, but no one was interested to download it. Later I developed a click game, called "ClickIt" with highscore and multiplayer for two players. After that there was "LinHelp", a programm for linear functions and linear equations. Very nice, my math teacher was very impressed! And now I want to start my first real game, a RPG like Final Fantasy or Lufia.

I decided to create my game at first in pure Basic (well I know that will be very slow), and later I'm going to try optimizing it with Axe.

I agree that it is better to not include every feature from the original game. It's best to start the project small, even if you are experienced, then expand as you progress. Also we need to remember that this is a calculator, after all. :P

But I'm really jealous of projects like Pokemon Purple, F-Zero, Metroid, Star-Trek or Super Mario. They are so awesome and of course their graphic is very good too. if I want that reach the water, I have to spent a lot of time and patience in this project.
But at first I need a nice title screen and an experienced programmer who teaches me Axe (i don't understand the commands, because I don't know the meaning, what advantages Axe against TI-Basic (except the speed)). Alternative: I need necessarily a good tutorial to understand syntax and advantages of Axe better.

No, I adjust the game for the TI-84 + to, so I will not take over all features. I see that I'm still a beginner (well not really a noob) and I'll make the game the way I imagine. Screenshots follow when the time comes. ;)

For TI_BASIC, unless your using libs, greyscale is no go.  ;)

btw, you avatar ia the same as Iambian's!
Okay, then I try it with Axe. Who is Iambian? Is it a crime when I use it too?

What language will this be in?
I think TI-Basic, but maybe also Axe. I don't know yet.
But one thing is clear: I need a good designer to make a remake of this game.

I have been programming with calculators since September 2010, but I think my knowledge is good enough to start this project. I speak (is this right?) TI-Basic and a little bit Axe. In addition to these two languages ​​I program also in the languages ​​PHP, JavaScript and C++. By the way I'm only 14 years old. :D

Hey, guys. I need graphics (especially a title screen) for my new RPG, called "Lufia - The Legend Returns". The original is for the gameboy and I'd like to make a remake for the TI-84+. But I'm a very bad designer, so I need at first a picture like that:



Later I need many Lufia sprites.
Can anyone help me? And sorry for my bad grammar, I'm German. ;D
