This is a bit odd. Not really a big deal to us though.

@XiiR3CR34T1ON: Up to you what you want to do with the title. You can always edit your own topic title. :)

It's okay. Since I know what it is now another download link isn't necessary. There are a few versions of this floating around on TIcalc.org. :)

Yea, that is a problem for younger people wanting to donate. :/

@Juju: You can look at killing as being bad without the religious aspect. If there is no after life, all we have is our time on this earth. That makes it much more precious. What right does anyone have to take away what little precious time we have? Essentially, I am saying morals can and do exist without religion.

I don't know... it could potentially make it that far if donations in the next 15 hours exceed yesterdays. It's possible, but not really likely. Just gotta wait and see. I'm super happy regardless. ;D

It's the final day for Mighty no.9. As of right now we are closing in on the goal for portable systems. It will be on PC, Mac, Linux, Wii-U,PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox 1, and 3DS and Vita shortly when we meet those goals. There will also be a live stream towards the end. The 3 designs for Call(Beck's partner) that move on will be announced at the end of the stream. Head over and support it if you want, and <a href=http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mightyno9/mighty-no-9/posts/611851>vote for your favorite Call design</a>(it's open to everyone!).

*Edit* Here's another <a href=http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mightyno9/mighty-no-9/posts/613681>interesting update</a> to look at. It shows of a test of the Unreal Engine, which the team chose to power this game. :)

Dj is correct. This is Sam Heald's Zelda. It isn't grayscale though. For anyone wondering, it's been discontinued for a very long time.

You might want to try a different host. The host you are using is trying to download 50MB+ of additional files when I try to download the Zelda game.

Sounds interesting Eiyeron. Are you going to try to include link play?

That's actually what i originally wanted to do, but i couldn't figure out a good way to implement erasing just part of a square. I may end up going back to it later.

I'm thinking you might have to achieve certain goals before passing a level (things like painting large murals, collecting certain items, etc.) or maybe adding in a points system based on the number of "colors", size, etc. Perhaps also the longer you stay in one area painting the more likely someone is to call the cops, and if you leave an area too long what you've started to paint will get cleaned up or you'll lose reputation points for leaving too many tags half-done. I'd also like to add in some action such as fights, chases, etc.

It's not all very clear yet, but i'll be trying to figure it out as a go along. :)

That sounds pretty awesome, hope you can hash it out. :D I think this engine could potentially work for a skateboard game as well.

there should be a president to post that you are participating... but no 'rule' and no requirement to make a topic :)

also, YIKES, the deadline is all the way in NOVEMBER???
over a month... i just can't win :'(  the way i work simply more time does not make it much better... adds cluinky features and the value of the project slowly degrades :(
(btw i have my entry done already -.-)

I think you mean precedent, I had to think about your post for a moment. November gives people time to plan and make their entries. If it were to short, we would likely get hardly any entries.

By the title, i thought this was going to be a Dig-dug clone. I think your new idea sounds pretty cool though. I'd like to see how you implement it. Would it be goal based? Open world? Randomly generated? There's a lot of different things you could do with this. :D

Yepp. You can tag it as [Contest] if you like. :) I'd also mention which category your entry is.
