Just thought I'd mention that you guys aren't limited to arcade style games. This topic is pretty broad, and allows for a lot of different games. Get out there and make something cool!

TASM is know to be pretty picky. People are more familiar with the newer assemblers that Xeda listed. :)

@GinDiamond: Yea, there was one, but I think it was pretty old and only in black and white.

Ahh, that sucks. They are definitely overpriced on some things. :/

If you're looking in store, BestBuy tends to have a pretty good selection.

Yea, having cool looking headphones to show off has become a fad recently with the intro of Beats by Dre. Every other manufacturer jumped on board and prices rose as a result. I have a few decent pairs, one is a big over the ear set by Sony, and the other is a pair of over the ear Skull Candy headphones. I think both were~$30. The Skull Candy pair was bought within a year, the Sony ones are a bit older.

*Edit* I just use these at home, if I'm out I just use some cheap earbuds. It seems weird to me to be wearing bulky headphones when I'm out and about.

@Roondak: No need to lurk anyway. Welcome to Omnimaga! You should go introduce yourself. :)

@Dapianokid:

So, you made a post just to quote what other people said in this thread? Please don't spam. I really serves no purpose whatsoever. Thanks.

@XiiR3CR34T1ON:
For this contest, we are focusing on the TI-83+ series (TI-83+/SE,TI-84+/SE). Please see below for the list of categories.

@Spyro: Games that are simplistic in nature yet fun. It could be something as simple as a snake game, or Pong. Early arcade type games are great examples. You should be able to pick it up and just play.

(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)
(Generated by PCPartPicker 2013-09-24 08:50 EDT-0400)

*Edit* Forgot to mention, I'm Re-using:
Current PC case
500 GB harddrive with Win7
17 in. HD Monitor/ 40 in HD TV as monitor 2
Speakers, Keyboard, Mouse
BLU-Ray/Dvd-R drive.

I'm open to suggestions, but I want to keep the build as low as possible and still have decent gaming preformance. I'd also like to be able to upgrade it in the future if I so choose. I also figure 2gb is the bare minimum for the graphics card. Anyho... what do you guys think?

The third game:

Hmm.. I missed this program. Separate topics would definitely help. This looks really nice, a bit slow though. I'm sure that will change in time though. :) Pac-man is another great choice for this calc, since it doesn't need scrolling. :)

@Eiyeron: If you want to. This is mainly a topic for posting sprites to share, with the intention that others may use them if they wish.

I'm not really sure about what kind of graphics card is recommended when using 3 monitors. You should see if you can find any similar builds and see what they are running/how they preform.
