Hopefully, you can figure something out. If not, well... using Full isn't the end of the world. Maybe you can post a help topic asking for optimization help.

Yes - by default 6mins40secs for a simple 1000 iterations loop without any display inside the loop (just calculations). After forcing the decimal mode, 50secs.
And for the same program, HP-Prime, TI-Nspire and even the TI-84+CSE only need between 1sec and 3secs.

I've allways read on Casio forums that the Classpad basic was slow, but I would never have imagined this...
My god that's horrible. It makes no sense why they'd make something so ridiculously inefficient.

Not really sure what to tell you. It's a bit too bare bones for me at the moment. I'd like to hear it with bass and drums added in. Also, it seems a bit repetitive at the moment.

What's with the Apple logos??
At first I was worried that Apple got into the graphing calc market and that they were pictured below the Nspire with their covers on.
That would be a joke... Can you imagine how expensive an locked down they'd be(even more than the Nspire)? You shouldn't joke about that! * Art_of_camelot shudders.

I don't see a huge issue with dropping support for 83+BE models. It allows us to increase the speed by 2.5x, and have significantly more space to work with, and it's a fairly small subset of the community.
Matrefeytontias, there is plenty of room for an extra 1800 bytes of graphical routines, especially if it makes it significantly faster.
True, but I always suggest games work for as many models as possible. Besides, if you are creating a great game people besides Omnimagicans will likely be playing it. The TI-83+ is still the cheapest available model TI-supports. Not to mention how many old used models are running around.

It could be added, but I think the source was lost on this project. That makes it a pretty big PITA to edit it unfortunately.

@Torio: The pokemon game lets you manually change the time IIRC. I think there is a button sequence you use at the title screen. Since the emulator doesn't support the battery, you'd have to change it manually every time you want a different time of day. *edit* it's hold the down arrow, b button, and select for pokemon gold and silver. It appears to have changed or been removed for Crystal. I don't remember. You can try looking it up.

I've finally started work on my first 84+CSE project! Seeing as Spaze Invaders (by Hannes "Movax" Edfeldt) was the first TI calculator assembly game I ever saw 15 years ago, I figured it's only fitting that my first 84+CSE project should be to port the classic TI-83 game over and colourise it!
The current plan is to make as much use of Movax's original code as practical, but I'll obviously be re-writing all of the sprite & LCD routines, as well as adding colour to the sprites (and doubling them in size to suit the larger LCD). The sprites themselves will still have the same retro look. The LCD will be run in 160x240 mode to optimise speed and sprite data, seeing as the graphics won't be high resolution.
This image is simply a mock up at this stage, but I should have some on-calc progress to show in the next week or two!
Very nice James. I thought a Space Invaders game would be a perfect fit for this calc. I'm happy to see this old game getting some new life (and colour) breathed into it.
