I've heard Dragon's Lair on NES is notoriously difficult, but that it's largely due to bad design and terrible controls. Cobra Triangle could probably be added. Most Rare titles are fairly difficult. *edit*Added Cobra Triangle. Also added Gradius/Life force as the last poll option.

Is this a new creation, or the same one? It's hard to tell, because of the camera angle. That and the fact that the machine in the previous pic was quite tall as well. If it's new, I'd like to see a more zoomed out shot. Either way, that's really tall! :O

@XiiR3CR34T10N: I don't know that most people would notice, but it's pretty cool. I really love that track from DKC (nice job btw). I'm a fan of David Wise's work (formerly employed by Rare). Not sure if he did that particular track, but he's done a lot of great work during his time at Rare.

Yea, I think so. Though I think the orginal intent was older stuff. All arcade games are pretty much "Old School" now as they are a dying breed. :*( I actually don't know what the most recent (if any) arcade release was.

The only place I know of around here that has Arcade games anymore is Dave and Busters. It's actually a bar/resturaunt that also has an arcade section. I haven't been in there in quite a while , but last time I passed by they had a Marvel vs. Capcom game in visible sight and a Galaga/ Ms. Pacman machine as well.

Eiyeron is refering to the first TMNT game on the NES, and I'd say yea, it was pretty difficult (though the dam level wasn't that bad imo). I think we should do top 15 here so the poll doesn't get too long. That means there's space for two more entries in the poll. If you still want to discuss difficult NES games feel free to. There are plenty that are difficult, but in a good way. However, there a plenty more that are difficult do to bad design, bugs etc, so feel free to drag them through the mud here.

I know i did.... I think it's funny that whoever made the game gave him Silver Surfer's Surf board for the SHUMP sections.
