There's one of those gargoyle games that Is rpgish if I remember correctly. I think it might've been on the NES. I also took a trip down to a store today that had some retro games and systems. They also had books, dvds, music and some MTG stuff. For games, they had Atari 2600 and 5200 games, NES games, Gameboy, Genesis games, Gamegear, SNES games, and some newer systems too. Prices seemed ok, but their selection sucked. I wasn't really impressed by the store as a whole either. The one girl working the front couldn't even be assed to say "hello" or anything at all to me for that matter, even though it was my first time visiting the store. Such a shame. I had high hopes for the place.

Ok, so I'm upgrading the OS at the moment (the one on there currently is outdated) so I can test this thing. Should get back to you soon. *edit* I got the OS updated, but TIconnect hates Mallard (the program required to run assembly programs) and I can't seem to get it to send with TILP either. I have the tracker on the calc, but no way to execute it at the moment.

As long as it has samples included I can give it a go later today. *Edit* Fixed a silly spelling error.

Dude, I LOVE the Ghosts 'n Goblins series. I have the Super NES one somewhere... I haven't played it in ages, but I only ever got to the end of the second stage. I need to give it a crack again. Be warned, that game is ridiculously difficult, and has accounted for many controllers through TVs in the past.

I've been playing spades for forever it seems. It's a great way to kill some time.

You are correct, but it's still another idea. I think the vmac emu was easy because it was an sdl port and didn't require much to be done in order for it to work.

Indeed. A good example of a thread that has nothing to do with ponies is this one. In addition you needlessly necroposted. In the future, please refrain from doing that TheBassetHound. Thank you.

Hello Piguy-3.14. Welcome to Omnimaga! Sounds like quite an ambitious project, so good luck! Also, if you decide to stick around, those posts add up pretty quickly. I usually average 100+ a month(on good months) myself.

@utz: ok. I thought id seen the compression rotines around, but never looked much into them. @chickendude:if anything the basic is compatible on the 85/86 (though im not even sure if it is). The asm is a bit different.

I think there were several reasons. Many engineers use these type of calcs, and from what i hear the hp is usually preferred. For most school courses the 83+/84+ is recommended. Ti hasn't actively promoted this calc in years either.

Also, I somehow missed an 83+ version being completed. Good work guys! About a possible 73 version, although it is very similar to the 83+ they aren't binary compatible. I honestly wouldn't worry about it too muc though, as that platform never really caught on.
