I know it works with Sonic 2 and Sonic 3. No idea about Sonic 1 though.

Looks nice. I'm not a fan of having to go into a menu every time I want to use a spell though. It seems it would slow the pace of the game as well. I'd suggest being able to "equip" a spell so you can just push a button and attack with that spell. If you want to make it even more user friendly you could use something like +/- to cycle through your spells and change which one is equipped. + would move to the next spell you have and select it, and minus would move to the previous spell and select it. You could even use your text box on the bottom to display which spell you are on (for a few seconds) as you are cycling through them.

Not much to say that hasn't already been said. It's looking nice. What size are the elemental Icons?

That's a neat looking little device you picked up there. I've been looking at some older pocket pcs myself, but I haven't bought anything yet.

I had a fun time yesterday working out how to even do that, but it is a 1-1 map, too, and warps it nicely That looks awesome Xeda! 1747

Interesting find. I wonder what kind of use programmers will put it to? It sucks that picture files are so large on this calc though.

I'm going to agree with Xeda and add a few things.
To the rest of omnimaga, I am not angry, but I do have a request. Stop the swearing on OmnomIRC, and don't talk about sketchy things in posts. Even if most of omnimaga is "mature" enough to handle it, we shouldn't have it going on here. And I am not saying this because I don't want it blocked in schools or what not, I am saying it because I want to be able to browse omnimaga comfortably, without having to be afraid that I may see the F word in OmnomIRC, or immoral things mentioned in posts. While you may not like it people can, will, and do use language how they see fit. However, if someone is being abusive or is posting inappropriate content that goes against our rules, please report it to a moderator (this goes for forums or IRC). I'd also like to reinforce that this is not a debate thread, and people need to make sure that they behave. Dapianokid: I'm sure once you get your parents trust back things will be much better. I've found that more than anything earning your parents trust back when it's been broken can be quite difficult. We are only human, and we are not perfect. 1750

TI-BASIC / Re: Need help with program« on: April 30, 2013, 03:47:05 am »
Actually, if you just use the variable Str1 (under the vars menu) instead of A, it should work. Regular variables can't store strings.
Also, the first line should be Input "Prom ? YES/NO",Str1. The fist comma isn't needed. Welcome to Omni by the way, and best of luck! 1752

@Not a number:
The drums sound much better in the new version. I've also gotten used to the wub-wubs, they seem to fit now with everything together. I really dig this song. ^^ I have a request for you, forgive me if it seems a bit odd. Would you be willing to post a new instrumental version with the updated drums but with the synth guitar? I'd also like your permission to attempt to put some vocals down on it. I have an interesting alternate version in mind. 1755
Other / Re: Modern equivalent of Casiopeia A-20E?« on: April 27, 2013, 02:43:27 am »I just watched a review of the Cassiopeia a-20E pocket computer, and I thought it was a really nice device, but it's really really outdated. What are some good, inexpensive, modern counterparts of the A-20E? (Tiny computers with physical keyboards that run Windows) (a netbook, perhaps?)These type of devices have largely been replaced by cellphones and tablets. A tablet running windows (with a stand/keyboard would probably be the closest thing. You could look at cellphones too, but i dont know if any of the windows ones have keyboards. For portable devices, the android platform seems more popular by far. *Edit* It's also funny you should mention this particular model, because I was looking around at pocket pcs on ebay and this one happened to catch my eye. |
