My guess is that it's a concept photo. I've never seen one in real life, nor have I seen an actual picture of one like this.

@DJ_Omnimaga:Thanks. The Calc in the top right is a cheap durabrand graphing calculator that I picked up from Wal-mart a few years ago. I think it was about $20.

@Dapianokid: Yes, amazing carpet is well... amazing. :P

Yes, and the GBA has a Z80(well an 8080 with some of the changes made in the z80) and an ARM. Go figure.

I just ctrl-r'd @ 12:51 AM after waking up. I was a bit surprised at first. Very nice new name. It makes it much clearer that we're a site primarily about TI calculators. :D

Nice to see that you were able to get it up and running.  :) you should get a cheap low res lcd to hook up to it.

2.43. Best compatibility with programs, none of that MathPrint crap.
^This. Also, I don't really use my calc for math; therfore I have no reason for a MP OS. A couple of my calcs actually have even older Oses simply because they were never upgraded.
*edit* One of the calcs. I bought had 2.53 or 2.55 installed on it when I bought it. I was testing some BASIC stuff and it was running slowly. I couldn't figure out why until I checked the OS version. I also didn't know what was going on with the homescreen. I'm used to the old interface, so the update where it displays fractions and allows you to scroll up was really strange to me.

Introduce Yourself! / Re: Foreigner in a foreing forum
« on: March 30, 2013, 04:06:23 pm »
Well... please don't flame me, but actually I don't own a single TI calculator, even though I have something like 5 HPs.

Anyway, my reason being here is that I have a home brew Z180 computer (with BASIC interpreter orginally "borrowed" from the swedish ABC-80), and even though I have been working with it (or its predecessors) something like 30 years, I still found out that I occasionally need some help from the web.

Nice to see you introduce yourself. :) It doesn't matter that you don't have a TI calculator, we believe all Z80's were created equally. ;) There are quite a few ASM coders around, so I imagine you might have some interesting things to discuss. Which HP calcs do you have, and what are the specs. on your Z80 machine?

I think the speed is quite fine. Nice looking little program you have there. :)
