@Matrefeytonias:That sucks that you have such a persistent bug. Hopefully someone can figure out what's causing it.

@Keoni: I'd chalk it up to coincidence, but it is interesting that you both came up with similar ideas. Also, IIRC that device was developed by a third party.

Holy necro post Batman ! https://www.dropbox.com/sh/9wqsil0w1lj6pri/DvDNb3o4pL
I think that is perhaps the cleanest, most organized room I've seen posted here. On a side note, I'm working on spring cleaning right now. By working on, I mean at the moment everything is pulled out, so it looks like a catastrophe in progress.

It sound like you are using some scratch ram that the os uses somewhere in your program and it's causing issues. Someone (thepenguin?) wrote a document describing what saferam areas axe uses, how safe they are, at what if anything needs to be done at the end of the program to restore them. It's actually quie in depth and lists saferam sizes and what alters them as well. Id link you, but I'm on my phone at the moment and it's a pain to do from here. It should be a sticky in our asm section. Maybe give that a look.

As far as TI Connect goes, it looks like a no. There's no option for the TI-82 or the TI-85 in the drop down menu, and TI connect fails to find it (I have the old style TI-82). As far as graphlink software goes... I can't remember. If it supports the Silverlink (I think it did), it should undoubtedly support the TI-82. I have no idea where my graphlink software is at right now though. As for TILP, I don't have it installed, so I can't check.

Well, this was actually super easy and only ended up taking a few minutes. New sprites are on top. Congratulations Reuben, you're shrinking! I still like the taller original one better though. Also: Minor font changes: Uppercase "J" and "K" This really is the last change. Don't kill me Sorunome! * Art_of_camelot hides.

not yet, progress is slowing atm because I just moved to another country on the other half of the world lol
Once things settle down I'll have a bit more time to work it out.
Oh wow. I hope the move went smoothly for you.

Is there any reason a calculator would give this message when receiving an OS from another calculator, but not when using TI's OS downloader that's built into TI Connect? *Edit* The calculator displaying the error message is a TI-84 Plus for the record. I can give further details about exactly what process I went through and what year the TI-84 Plus is, but more than anything I am just curious.

monochrome doesn't make a difference, the 6 sprite ones are only for erasing, for 8*8 i would need only 2 for erasing so yeah, 8x8 4lvl greyscale would be awesome! (don't forget the walking animation )
And don't forget the 16x16 reuben
I can attempt an 8x8 sprite, but I doubt it will look nearly as good. >.< I havent forgotten about the battle sprites either. I should have sone time sunday or monday to work on things, but I won't have much free time the next few days.

I don't really know axe, but I can't imagine 6 sprite commands taking up that much time. If he was 8x8 would you need 3? If that's the case, I'd imagine monochrome would need 3 as well since it's only one layer. Maybe you could post the walking engine and see if someone can help speed it up to improve the flickering issue.

I'm not surprised about the popularity. Despite the videos being weird, they are pretty cool and quite well done
