If the spites are direct copies (pallete swapped or not) then you are using someone elses intelectual property.
Most companies don't care about fan games that arent making any money. Especially one on a platform with such limited exposure.

mhmm, that only looks like 3 level greyscale to me O.o

It's 4, but the gray I used on the feet and hands is pretty light. I guess I should've used a darker gray. XD

The Axe Parser Project / Features Wishlist

I would personally add as a suggestion port Axe to allow to compile it for TI-83 calculators: as more and more projects are using it, it would be great to be able to use them on a TI-83 calculator!

It won't be easy though. For example, you'll need to emulate the safe ram areas by allocating them somehow, fix the rom calls and other stuff.

Would be great though :)

A Axe PC application would also be appreciated :)
Writing a program on a PC is faster than on a calculator (and less fear of loss of data).
I think if normal 83 support were to be added, (at some point) a pc side utility would be a must. You would be severely limited by size otherwise. In all honesty it would probably need to be a complete reworking more than a port... there are so many differences between the platforms. Many things that work in the current axe would not work on the 83 version at all or need a major overhaul to work properly.

*edit* Wow, didn't realize that this post was in the wrong topic (it should be in feature requests). XD gonna move this and a few other posts.
*Edit* Done. ;)

With light gray for hands and feet. Black could sort of work, but this way you get to see everything.

* Sorunome only haz 3 level greyscale so no lighter grey D:
And if i'd go to 4-level greyscale
I'd be ok with it
But I'd need remakes for every tiles :P
here are the current tiles I use:

I can work on that if you like, I can do that while im working on my 16x16 mockups. :) Just let me know.

It's looking nice, but the thing with white pixels on the endge is that you can't see 'em coy reuben walks only on white surface, lol
Yea i had that thoght occur to me after i posted it. The feet can easily be changed to lighter gray or black to accomodate this. :)

So I just started out fixing an extra white pixel on one of the sprites and ended up doing some re-working. Have a look and let me know what you think. I also think I might do some 16x16 mockups just for giggles when I have some time later this week. :)

*edit* I forgot to mention it (and you can prbobably tell anyways), but in the bottom pic the top sprites are the old one and the bottom ones are new.

*edit 2* ugh, just realized that i posted a slightly older version of the new sprites where some of the left/right facing ones are different. X.x I'll upload the proper one when i get home and post one with altenrate colored feet.

*edit 3*Fixed now. :)

TI-Nspire / Re: nSpiKx - TI-nSpire emulator for Mac os x (Cocoa)

AOC: have you (Omnimaga moderators and admins in general), considered that by clamping down on such discussions to try and (fail to) create a hostility-free environment, you are helping the original trouble-maker, the disrespectful person who started it all, to keep being disrespectful to an entire community ?
As critor and others explained, a closed-source fork of an open-source program precisely goes against another part of the very rule you're quoting: "allowing all coders to learn, help others".
I don't see any "trouble maker" nor anyone who is being disrespectful. All I see is a coder wishing to release a fork of the Nspire emu that is easy to use. It's not a rule I quote either, more of a mission statement of what we are about. I understand that it is your opinion that this project would be much better open source, however it is his choice to do so. While it is true that others could possibly learn something from the source, this project is not directly impeding anyone from learning and to suggest such is just silly. Furthermore this topic is about the current release of nSpiKx. Not whether or not you or anyone else thinks it should be open source. Let's not get any more of topic on this thread than we already have.
*Edit* And seriously people stop with all the negative downrate spamming. It's getting ridiculous.

I'd like to take a moment to quote a sentence from our rules page;
Quote from: Omnimaga
Omnimaga is a site dedicated to calculator and computer game programming and music creation of any kind. Our goal is to provide a discussion environment free from hostility, allowing all coders to learn, help others, show off their projects, and discuss community-related news.
I know that those of you that would like this to be an open source fork have good intentions. I understand you want this project to be able to take advantage of the best of both worlds. I get that, I really do. But some of you are going on borderline harassment. That certainly does not create a friendly hostility free environment and very much goes against the spirit of Omnimaga. I'd like to ask that for the time being you cease the discussion of bringing this fork to open source. Whether you like it or not it its Spiro's choice, and obviously the insistence that this fork be made open source has gone nowhere. Thank you. :)

I should have been more clear. I know the processor is z80, (though they could list it) the thing I'm curious about is the clock speed.

Ok i was so gently to make a screenie ;p

and i noticed: there are no shops? probably it still has to come...
IDK?- it's a tiny bit too slow...
FIXED- there's no map limit... so when player goes up, or left, zombie goes down/right... (0-65536)
FIXED- bullets keep, shooting after hitting enemy

UPDATE: I have added some more stuff, like a background. Now I'm working on the different maps.
Any feedback? Constructive criticism is great!

Sorry for the double post, I felt it would be confusing If I had 2 downloads in one post.

It's okay if it's for a project update. ;) Also, this is looking pretty nice. :)
