I'm going to see my parents briefly in the morning (I hate long goodbyes). A bit later, im going to see the hobbit with friends. At least Ill be able to se an epic movie before we all get obliterated. Then Ill probably do some gaming, take a nap, and the go to work. Boring last day of existence, i know. Ah well. C'est la vie.

Hayleia, i think you are being too hard on yourself. This is easily one of the most beautiful looking games I've seen on the z80 series. You really did a fantastic job on the graphics!

I *think* the third one is going to be some (maybe all?) new material that helps bridge the gap between the end of the hobbit and the beginning of lord of the rings.

Raycasting, mode 7, and isometric 3d should all be decent options.

Ndless 3.1 was featured though. Maybe ticalc's policy is not to nominate a program that already won a poll. According to Ryan on the discussion thread that's exactly why it wasn't on the poll—it was considered an update to a program that was already featured (and won POTY) in 2010.
On the other hand, TiEmu won POTY twice (first as TiEmu in 2005 and then as TiEmu3 in 2007), so there's some inconsistency here...(Oh, BTW, mViewer and FormulaPro were uplaoded on ticalc) I guess they didn't see that. Maybe they're more familiar with major TI-83 Plus-family releases.
If a program you think should be on the voting list doesn't get featured when it's submitted, you can always suggest it as a feature by emailing featprog@ticalc.org as said on this page.EDIT : with this happening, how could we even consider "respecting" the POTY anymore ? It has strictly no value ! That's like making a website on my own, making a poll with only my programs and awading myself for being the best, everytime. I think the point of POTY is the best program uploaded to ticalc.org in a year, with ticalc.org acting as a largely neutral service that simply holds files.
One of the big differences is that the English community and the French community have different philosophies on the archives' purpose. In the French community it's common for a major site like TI-Planet to add major completed community projects to its own archives automatically (as DJ_O pointed out). But in the English community something like that would be unacceptable, so ticalc.org strictly relies on user uploads for its files and featured programs. Not saying one system is better than the other—just felt that that's part of what's causing the problem here.
^This exactly. Also, many things tend to get overlooked. It's not like archivers can constantly go thorough every single program that gets submitted and test them. This is something they do voluntarily, and they have other things going on as well. As Deep Thought mention, you can also suggest a program if you think it is worthy of a feature. Ticalc has even encourage people to do so because as mentioned, they don't see everything. I certainly don't see POTY as useless. Perhaps somethings need to be improved, but we as a community need to decide what we can do to help improve it instead of just complaining about it.

I use firefox, and I've never come across this. That's very odd...

@DJ: I tried both of your suggestions before I posted the final one. However; 8x8 is not enough to get the details in unfortunately. Adding white to the bottom of the hat just makes it bleed into the face. I tried to do white trim on the cape, but that makes the feet or hands blend in.

Haha, very cool. This game kind of Reminds me of Donkey Kong JR. but it looks like it has more variety.
Actually Seeing the screens of the Commodore version (and seeing more gameplay) I'm going to have to revise that statement. Jumpman is much faster paced and more action oriented. Have you tested speed on hardware yet? I notice that in the video of the Commodore version of the game jumpman moves like he's on speed. Not that' he looks slow on the 68k version mind you, but slower comparatively when seen beside his brother on the Commodore.

Cheating or discussion of how to do so is against Omnimaga rules. Please reread them if you wish to stick around. They are located here. Cheating is stupid. It won't help you in the long run. Don't you think if you are constantly searching through a 1200+ page document on a calculator someone just *might* think it a bit suspicious? It's really not worth the risk at all. Topic locked.

Again, why not a tablet or a laptop though? Those things already have the capability you require.

I'm curious; why do you need a program to fit a 1200 page text document on a calculator? It really isn't an ideal device for such a thing, and it has a pretty small screen as well. Why not use a tablet or a laptop? Or just view the document on a computer?

I'd love to have 16x16 to work with; but for now I'll leave this quick mockup here. *edit* Reposted with minor revisions to make the sprites more consistent. *edit2* Caught and fixed a silly mistake.
