Site Feedback and Questions / Re: [code=
« on: November 28, 2012, 02:51:27 pm »
I wanted to know what is up with code tag.  For me, whenever someone writes
Code: [Select]
it always just shows as
Code: [Select]
Array  But other people say it actually displays correctly for them still.  So do other people have this problem, or am I just crazy? (Also, if i'm not, why would it work for some people but not others?)  (And what's the problem?  because it looks like a bug really)
This happens for me as well (firefox). I usually end up editing out the "=" of the person's post so that it displays properly on all browsers.

Not worth the speed decrease IMO. Work mor on making a complete product and then see how your total engine speed is. If you have a decent frame rate you can play around with adding things like that. :)

^Check Tifreakware, they're supposed to be the tutorial king. ;D Also, a pdf of TI's official manual might not be a bad idea if you don't own a hard copy.

Would you like to rephrase that with more complete sentences? I can make neither heads nor tales of your statements.

Someone that has an account on Reddit should poke him and tell him to come by and visit us and Cemetech. ;)

Other Calculators / Re: Black Friday deals at Office Max on Calculators!

What's the matter? I don't get it...
I think that's a attempt at a rickrolling spinoff (rebecaroll'd?)
Kind of. I thought it'd be a bit of fun to do a Black Friday joke with Rebecca Black. It just seemed natural to me as the song is Rebeca Black, Friday.
Someone else had questions about Graphing Calculators being on sale on Black Friday, so it seemed like a natural fit. :P Just having a bit of fun with you guys.

Actually I think the Neo Geo was usually referred to as 16-bit, although it has a 16 bit 68k processor as well as an 8 bit z80 processor. In all honesty it looks like a slightly higher speced Sega Genesis/Mega drive. Is it possible? Probably. Will someone actually be interested enough to pick it up? Who knows?

Omg, it's a Ranman! Sadly, I doubt we will ever see the 68k series get such an upgrade. :/

Other Calculators / Black Friday deals at Office Max on Calculators!
« on: November 23, 2012, 04:53:26 am »
So apparently <a href=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfVsfOSbJY0>Office Max</a> is having Black Friday sales. This includes any "educational electronics" which graphing calculators fall under. Check out the TV advertisement linked to at the beginning of this post for further details. Feel free to move this to "News", if necessary. ;)

Other Calculators / Re: Nspire Color prototype sold in China

I'd be interested in it, too, if you decided you didnt want it and there were some way to program it (in assembly). Northern_snow: where did you get 350元 from? It looks like it's 450元.

I didn't know there were any Chinese calculator forums :D

EDIT: Btw, who's zhengran14? Is it someone from here?
Oh yes it's 450 yuan. And zhengran14 is just a junior high school student in shanghai.
OS 3.0.0.1045
Boot 1 & Boot 2 3.0.0

Mine has OS 3.0.0.0.

So 3.0.0.1045 is very interesting.
Who buys it? ;)
OK I'll buy it.
(But I have another idea. Critor, I want to send this model to you and you send a production model to me, and I pay the shipping cost.)

Nice idea - no problem :D
I'll pay the shipping cost for the production CX myself, don't worry about that.
^Stuff like this is the reason our community is so awesome. We really have great people. ^^

So, I'm actually going to *try* to put something together for this contest. I'm in the planning stages now, we'll see if I'm able to scratch something out on time. :)

Site Feedback and Questions / Re: Omnimaga YouTube channel (OmnimagaTV)
« on: November 20, 2012, 06:15:19 am »
For greater advertising, I think the channel should maybe have a modified Omni background with the site URL in the background (under the logo), in some sort of mosaic like I did on my Youtube channel.
Totally agree. :)
