Site Feedback and Questions / Re: Site hangs on login
« on: December 21, 2015, 02:42:35 pm »
It might just be my internet after all. After these shenanigans, my internet was acting up. I think it might've been on my end. That, and I can't reproduce it now.

Site Feedback and Questions / Site hangs on login

Codewalrus and Omnimaga won't load on my win 7 laptop running the most current version of chrome. They hang on the login and just show the orange Loading... text

*edit* I had it on say logged in forever. I changed it to stay logged in for a day and it worked.

I don't do much programming these days, but it is always nice to have options. Did you fix the bug where it was crashing on programs that were 3 lines or smaller?

The Axe Parser Project / Re: Axe Parser

E37 was not talking to you. He was asking Runer112 how the new version of Axe was coming along for the normal TI-84+.

If you have a regular TI-84+ (not CSE) try the file in the 1st post on page 1. Otherwise try Geekboy's.

Hey James, this is pretty awesome. Honestly, it doesn't look too bad at 3x resolution speed wise. I wonder what the bottle neck is though since the processor is a lot faster?

Anime and Manga / Re: Recommended Anime/Manga
« on: December 16, 2015, 07:00:42 pm »
Since this thread has seen a resurgence in popularity and I've actually watched a dozen or so animes now (don't judge me, baka)

* pimathbrainiac begins judging

I'd say it's a pretty good list of anime to watch. I'd recommend adding Code Geass to your list as well. Also, I see you have "The Devil is a Part Timer" in there. It is currently my favorite comedy. FMA:B is great, as is Steins;Gate (neither of which I've finished, though, mind you). Death Parade is really great and really emotional, but the first episode is really freaking psychological.

Stein's gate was excellent. I watched it at calc84maniac's recommendation. The Devil Is a Part-timer I watched about 3/4 of and then quit. I couldn't really get into it. I gave it a shot at a friend's recommendation.

Anime and Manga / Re: Recommended Animes/Manga

I also recently finished accel world which was pretty good. I takes place in the same universe as SAO, but years later. I've also been watching log horizon some. *Edit* also, Durarara (sub or dub) is amazing. If I haven't mentioned it before now, that's a sin. Go watch it, NAO.  :blah: *Edit again* Also remember that I watched Ping pong the animation recently. It's an anime about ping pong (duh) and growing up. It's a pretty short series, but also quite good. Don't be put of by the art, (which isn't so great) the story si pretty good.

Bakuman is quite good. It's a shonen title about two guys and their journey to become managaka. It has comedy and romance elements to it. It was done by the same mangakas that created deathnote, so the art and story are quite good. I recommend either the manga or the anime.

Site Feedback and Questions / Re: So...
« on: December 13, 2015, 07:48:17 pm »
I'm not really sure what there is that can be done, but we are certainly open to suggestions. Word of mouth can help. If you have people that are or may be interested, let them know! Also, one thing that can be done that is very simple is having topic titles accurately reflect what they are about. A topic titled "So..." says literally nothing. Let me help you out with that. ;)

Anyhow... Inactive projects can be cleaned up, that's no problem. A restructure to make things more well organized could work as well, but it would depend on what the other admins thought. Branching out is also an option, but again, I'm not sure how popular that would be. We do already have sections for no calc dev. Maybe that could just be restructured a bit?

One of the most important things is current team/ member activity. If there aren't many interesting projects to attract people, people won't post or have reason to visit. Contributing is one of the best things any of us can do to drive activity imo.

@LDStudios : Very nice! I had a Pacman collection that included this game, and I had quite a lot of fun with it. :) *Edit* For redundancy sake you could just attach the file here in your post as well instead of linking. Can't hurt to have multiple copies IMHO.
