Art / Re: Some random sprites by DJ Omnimaga

I like both actually, but I guess it would depend on what they were used in as how they would look. If I had to choose though, I'd say the smaller ones.

*edit* Apparently I can't type today. :/

I was just curious, because you showed sfx working in the video before you said you were working on the music engine that required timid. I thought perhaps the two were independent.

What about sound effects? I assume that those can be played independently right?

It's likely because the calculator itself is slow. It has nothing to do with the Rom.
*edit* You might want to look at the readme. IIRC, there are options for frame skip.

If you are working with 16x16 now, the Final Fantasy IV over world sprtes I mentioned would be an excellent reference. Final Fantasy Mystic Quest as a good reference as well. Both are 16x16. See the attached pic. :)

IIRC, the 82+ is a rebranded 83+ for the french market.

Not to mention that the 84+ CSE runs at a snails pace compared to older models for more complex graphics. :/ A port of this to the 84+ CSE is really unlikely.

It should be noted that Robot Wars is a port of Digitan's original TI-82 game.(http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/380/38065.html) :) Nice list by the way.
