@JCW: never knew the original musician's name. If I could remember where I heard it originally maybe I could figure it ou!  @Omni: Ah ok. My bro uses Sony Acid 6, and that's what I use for mixing fandubs at the moment. =) Not sure what you mean about the VST settings. For my bro, depending on the length and complexity of the song he can turn em out in hours(first version) to about a week. Depends on how much he changes it as he goes too. =)

It is similar, but I think the one in DJ's song is brighter and has a bit more of a sharp hit to it. I don't have a good hq version of Blue Monday to compare to though. This is just from comparison to a version of Blue Monday posted on YouTube.
