It is at full acceleration. I had no trouble with your other demo so this is kinda odd. I'll fiddle with some settings tomorrow and see if I can't ge some results.

Alot of members (Calcmaniac included) are still in school. Although he was moving at a crazy pace, I wouldn't worry to much. Things do tend to slow down here and there. He'll post when he has something new to add. =) Do remember it's also the holiday season and people tend to be bussier with relatives and shopping and traveling and whatnot. =)

It is alot eaiser to flesh things out on paper. Of course, I am a visual person so it may just be me.

I get an error when trying to run the exe, the loading bar shows up and loads and then it displays this message: Failed to initialize drawing surfaces. Please check that your graphics card meets minimum requirements and that your drivers are up-to-date. If your graphics card has little memory, try switching your computer to a lower resolution.
I'm running Win XP professional on a 1.29 GHZ Celeron with 1 GB RAM. The graphics card is an ATI mobile Radeon 9000 with 32mb memory. I'm currently running it in 1024 x 768 resolution. The lower res. setting yeilds the same results.

It's nice that someone finally took the time to do this as it was much overdue. Maybe they'll starting going through and re-organizing some of their other archives (I wouldn't hold my breath though ). As for the POTY, hopefully they'll post it soon. They were pretty late posting it last year too.

I'd have to agree with DJOmnimaga completely, Although I have seen some random dungeon games that were done really well. There is also the fact that designing a world is just so much more fun. ^_^

Ben wrote an editor that allows coding on PC as well. BBC BASIC is slated to be a 3 page app. The app will be required in order for programs to run.

This is really coming along nicely. I also have to say wow, Kalan it looks like you had a fairly nice version of this in the works at one time. Me thinks Kalan should work on a new X-lib game. ^_^

Well, this is a really big decision so I hope you've thought it out completely. It is true that if you are 18 your parents cannot stop you, however I hope you are able (If you are sure about following through with this) to part with them on good terms. I know parents can drive you up the wall sometimes, but usually they have your best intrests at heart(Again, I don't really know your situation so I can't say). Sometimes it is necessary to get out from under your parents roof and this may be the case. At any rate I hope things go well for you whatever you decide. Remember also, school > calc games Especially senior year.
