It had a decent begining, needed work though.

Well, that fact that you can crash it means they have some shitty error handling on this thing. Of course, I'm sure they never intended anyone to completly max out all the avalible user space.

And they'll probably have about that many copies. The underlying system is flexible enough for me to release various "editions" of the game, each with its own bosses and story lines. I could conceivably pump out these games as part of a series. I've already got three story ideas...
That's pretty sweet. It's nice that your engine is that flexible. Oh and about the space, I really wouldn't worry about it too much. With good games people don't mind commiting some space to them.

Honestly even thought many consider SMB2 US the bastard of the Super Mario Bros. Series, I have always loved the game. Honestly it's built similarly enough that it may as well have been a Super mario bros. game from the begining. Anyways... I look foward to seeing this as it progresses.

I'm not surprised. I figured user RAM was just that. System RAM is completley seprate here. ^_^ Kinda neat.

Nice job! Even though I predicted it, it's still funny that you had RAM left over. Good work cramming tha 10k game into such a small space.

That looks much better since you replace the menus. Nice. Still haven't had a chance to test it yet. I had to work 5:30 pm-11:30 pm and I go to work today at 4:45 am. Ill give them both a try tomorrow or saturday and give you some feedback. Hope you feel better. Oh and GET SOME FREAKIN SLEEP!!!

Yea, I knew about the old 83's, I had one until I lent it to my cousin and it got stolen. . I didn't even realize the TI-73 had no ASM command though. I guess that makes sense, because the intended user base is middle schoolers and they designed this calculator to be simple. I think it could still be possible on the TI-80, but the assembley language would be different since it is a different processor (if it has a link port, I'm unfamilar with the TI-80 as well).

Well, I did get the steps the program needs to deal with wrote out, and was working on the more detailed version of those. Then I should be able to start coding this with no problem. Yay me.
Oh, and I had already utilized Anti-lamesauce missiles on myself, the effects were devastating to the surrounding environment.
well, i have the entire country of belgium.
Unless I'm entirely missing something, this is a nonsensical post and has no place here. If you feel the need to make such posts in the future please do so in the "Randomness" section of the board. That is what it is there for afterall.

Wow, that's alot of progress so far. I'tll be intersting to see how this turns out. I'm personally betting on you having some RAM left over. Lol

This is pretty interesting. I never realized that the two were so similar. It seems there have to be some differences, otherwise Mallard and software written specifially for the TI-73 wouldn't be necessary as it could just run the TI-83 OS and Crunchy OS or MirageOS. I wonder what the specific differences are...
