I trieed all the interupts on calc and the best on still had the diagonal scan lines. It did still run smoothly though despit the scan lines. The thing about  the emulator is that it is emulating the BE, that's why I thought it was kinda odd. Hopefully they will get group support to work . :)smile.gif

@MSR5 $600 really isnt that much for a bass. Most of the people here are in high school or college and  just dont have that kind of money to spend though.
@ Super speeler, you could try finding an older used model of the one you liked in the store. I'm sure you could find something comprable. :)smile.gif

General Calculator Help / Emus, CalcGS, IStudio on Vista

I've been thinking about that too, i dont know any computer languages, but it seems to me that calc gs lacks a couple of features . I have another tile program that has a few more features, but it's not specifiacally for TI and is a bit more cumbersome. I cant get it to output tiles as bin data either but i can get it to export a bmp IIRC.

tested making sprites, animating a sprite, and loading a 256x64 bmp as a tilemap. No problems or errors.

Yea, I can't seem to get a response about wether groups work or not so atm I'd say groups don't work. :(sad.gif Grayscale on the other hand looks great, I tested it out with Desolate. On my actualy TI 83+ BE their are some strange diagonal scan lines running through it (even thought the grayscale is pretty much flicker free). On the wabbit ds emulator their are no scan lines showing and the grayscale is very smooth as well, the only exception being the title screen that does ficker a bit
.

@harrierfalcon; What do you mean by the second method doesn't hide discrepancies as well? If the second method is significantly faster than I'd say use it. Otherwise the first should be fine.

@Dj Omnimaga you like Stratovarius too?!? Sweet :)smile.gif You definitly have to check out Dream Theater then. They are very much like Stratovarius except their music is more varried and they are a bit more talented.
@MSR5; Examples of speed metal are Dragonforce, Iron maiden and Black label society. IE they play fast and lots of hammer ons. Progressive rock is more of like Pinkfloyd, and the bands Yes and Kansas. They may include some fast stuff but tend to have more instrumental stuff and incorparate elements from other genres.

Dj  omnimaga likes dragonforce??? HOLY CRAP!!! While I respect the talent of their insane guitarist and bassist, I don't care for their writing style. By writing i mean all inclusive as in lyrics, bass lines riffs ect. ... the whole package. Some insane talent there though. As far as similar stuff to this if anyone like Dragonforce they shold also check out Dream theatre, Pinkfloyd, Avenged sevenfold, Judas priest and Iron maiden. All great stuff if you're into prgressiv rock or speed metal.

Techno isn't horrible by any means, some of it is actually pretty good. But to say it is comprable to Classical music is a gross mis-statment. They are made in entireley different ways for different people and reasons That's all I'm saying.
