NGE (the anime) was probally one of the most dissapointing animes I have ever seen. It was great until the last couple episodes where I guess the writers ran out of ideas and decided to make an ending that was toatlly random and WAAayyy out there. I hear that angelic days is pretty good though.(it is the actual story of the alternate reality that shinji envisioned from what i have heard) Fan fic doesn't look half bad thought hope it has a better ending than the animu .

Ok, i just downloaded your songs and they sound pretty neat. I assume for the first one your title is supposed to be curious mausoleum? I like the dark style of that one and of lightlessness. Curious mausoleum was ok, but didnt seem to have alot to it. Lightlessness on the other hand was fairly complex and I liked it ALOT. I assume you changed the octaves of your voice up and down in the editor to get the desired "young girl" and "evil laugh" effects. New songs 1 and 2 also seem very promising. I could defintley see these being used in a rpg with a dark theme or a survial rpg. Good stuff ^_^. *Edit* Just listened to Mad amusement. I didn't like this one very much. The sound that sounds kind of like an engine idling with an echo seemed very distracting to me and took away from the rest of the music that was going on.

IDK, I seem to find my way around either fine . It is funny to me that after I hadn't programmed on calc for years that i could still remember all the key shortcuts and where everything was. It's like ridding a bike; you never forget *edit* 60 wpm on a calc is pretty sic, but i know what you mean. I am the same way .

Yea, not much difference except that the titanium one is more expensive and has a larger flash memory. That's about it. If money is your concern I'd go for the old TI-89, mine has served me just fine. You can program it on calc without any problems as well; as long as you don't mind using BASIC .

THE POST 13531120 It's a system for table top and book based rpgs that uses a 20 sided die roll to determine sucess rate on actions taken(pretty much any action taken). D & D is book based, where the books give you the basis of the world and the rules for combat ect.

An 86 port should be fairly easy... 68k would be a bit different. Perhaps taking on an 89 exclusive project could be on your "to do" list after LL1 and LL2 are completed. Instead of just doing a port you could do something that takes full advantage of the res and hardware. Just a thought anyways.

I was just refering to the status screen. In this case white text on the black background wouldn't work, and it would be too much black . *edit* QUOTE | I think black bg is good because it makes the game look more like if it was a console game than on a gameboy. On calc it may not be as hard for the eyes. |
Yea, this is what I thought too and that is why I like it on the status screen. It reminds me more of a console game. I dont think implementing user chosen background colors would be a good idea, it would take up unnessecary space and would be a pain to implement .

Actually, I think that looks alot better. I've never really liked the light gray. Hmmm. let me try someting; here: I think Black background with white text is without a doubt the best looking. The dark gray background with black lettering comes in second in my oppinon. The dark gray with white text is too much though it makes it look too bright for some reason . *Edit* the border seems to really tie the black one togther as well
