4 x 8 and 4 x4 ?The text looks like 3 x5 and 3 x4 to me, unless im completley misunderstanding you and th 4 x8 and 4 x 4 are refering to something else... : : At any rate the larger font looks pretty nice, tho i might change a few letters to make them more normal. (D, the #3, and possibly the E. Here's a quick example: As for the smaller text, I'm still not sure why you want to use text that small. However, it does look very good. I wouldnt change anything in the smaller set.

QUOTE | I understand you point guys. The only problem is if everything is kept secret it make the TI community look dead. Omnimaga is active because the amount of projects in the works here is insane compared to other sites, but on UTI you look the new posts and you rarely see any project updates. |
This is one of the things that drew me to omnimaga when I was getting back into the community because it was so active and always being updated. The other sites... not so much. People do tend to keep things under wraps for the said reason; time constraints, not wanting people to pester you, or the project just not being far enough along to warrant discussion yet. Personally I think once a project is a fair amount done it could be posted. Depends on personal preference when it comes down to it.

I just looked at this guys stuff on calcg.org; the only possible threat he could pose to anyone is to annoy you to death with his terrible grammar, sentence structure(or rather the lack there of) and his general stupidity. Also, I seriously doubt he is 18......... he comes of as being an immature middle schooler . No worries here guys. :lolz:

THE POST 13523875 QuoteBegin --> QUOTE | A RPG in one page? I have to see this, even jamolta (spelling?) wouldn't fit on one page, not to discourage the progress or anything . |
Jamolta? I assume you meant Joltima and yea, joltima was like 14,000 bytes or so IIRC, and thats with out grayscale or gigantic enemy sprites. I don't think he used compression though.

QUOTE | @Art_of_camelot: maybe, idk, I'll see after I get more experience with LL, LL2, and my personal projects (which may never be finished for 8x+ if there are more LLs to come ^^)
|
Heh, no kiddin. Hopefully you can find time for your stuff as well... Though from what I've seen so far, more LLs will defintley be coming as the first one has so much anticipation ^_^.

@Liazon; I dunno, you just seem to be very good at explaining things, so that was where my train of thought was at. Personally I never think that you can have too many good resources at your disposal. Just my oppinon anyways.

For those of you that are newer to the community this may not mean much to you, but Fryedsoftware is a group of 2 individuals that have been a part of the community for around 10 years. They made some of the first great RPG's that came out including a FF7 game, a bubblegum crisis game named nene's adventure and many more I am sure I am neglecting. I can't tell you how amazing and great this is to me as no one else I know from when I first joined the community is still around. My hat is off to you guys at fryedsoft, that really is something else. http://www.bluecrimson.com/cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl?

QUOTE | Not programmable yet I emailed them a while back and their PR person told me they were planning it, but they needed to improve the operating system first, so don't discount it yet. Hopefully they weren't lying to me or something |
LIES! ALL LIES! It would be REALLY nice if they made it programmable, in additon to the grayscale (built in) I think it had a very high res display as well.

Yes, very much so. Thanks . Also; Have you ever consider writing an ASM tutorial?

Ya, i know. Would be nice if they gave as a pallet of gray. Heck even the old gameboy had a 4 shade pallet of gray (green ^_^). P.S. I've heard the new ti inspire does, but as it isn't programmable it doesnt count

Ah, ok. So using 2 layers is the standard? And for light gray u just display it for a lesser duration?Hmm... I really need to study up on grayscale

Light gray would be on the screen the shortest amount of time? That doesnt make any sense to me. with 4 level gray there are 3 layers arent there? IIRC; for light gray you would have 2 layers of white and one of black, and for dark gray 2 layers of black and one of white. I could be wrong though as I'm not all that familar with grayscale but i thought that's how it was done. : :
