I actually like the sprite, so i wouldn't mind if you left it the same.

Yet another Flappy bird clone I see. It does look pretty nice though. I like the bird sprite too, It kind of reminds me of pac-man.

The game looks a good bit clearer in the most recent screen shot. The first screen shot you posted didn't look this good (or smooth). So anyhow, the speed looks great. Not sure about the blurriness on calc, but it doesn't look too bad in the most recent screenie.

TI-Boy SE - Game Boy Emulator For TI-83+SE/84 / Re: Official TI-Boy CSE Alpha Thread« on: February 19, 2014, 05:59:12 pm »
@dreamdragon: As hayleia said, the current version doesn't have sound. Any sound data the games have is completely ignored, so there is no slowdown.

I'm not sure if they'd count animated gifs though. I think they want actual video.

Art / Re: Mini guide to TI-84+CSE gradients (for drawing graphics under limited colors)« on: February 18, 2014, 10:47:41 am »
You realize that both of the attachments are picture files right?
*Edit* Gradients are definitely one way you could go. When working with a limited pallet, I tend to try to use more neutral tones. That way it attempts to minimize some of the contrast issues you might have. This pallet really lacks green and yellows, so it might be easier to utilize the colors we have more shades of; The blues, grays, and reds. This mockup takes advantage of the large number of grays available, and uses the dark redish brown as brown (since it's really the only brown we have. ). 866

Anime and Manga / Re: [TOKU] Kamen Rider Gaim« on: February 16, 2014, 12:44:31 pm »
My buddy's been watching this (first Kamen Rider Series he's seen). I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, but he tells me it's quite good.
*Edit* I have seen one of the Kamen Rider Sentai crossovers though, and it was quite nice. |
