Levak: I don't think anyone is going to "hate" you over your opinion! I think its a good thing that you brought it up to keep the signatures in check. I realized that I really didn't need two videos in my signature I also realized that not everyone has the fastest internet speed (especially after looking through the post your speed topic) and crazy sigs might really get annoying! I remember when I had to use my cell phone to connect to the internet. No 3g, just my iden phone plugged into my computer and I only had close to dial up speeds, images were not an option

I am definitely in favor of people displaying their projects in their sig, and pictures (especially gifs) draw my attention to them a lot more than just a name and a link. Sigs should be all about promotion and representing the member. They also make the pages a lot more colorful, fun, and personal. Who wants a boring text only forum? (not mentioned in this topic, just worst case senario) Out of all the forums out there, I am here the most. Not necessarily because of the unique sigs, but they do help to set the atmosphere.
DJ: There's nothing wrong with your signature, I think it looks professional.

My new signature! All it does is link to my blog, I was going to have it go to the seperate pages, at least its short.

I like being able to see other peoples blogs, projects, and project updates, but I think 800x200 might be a little overdoing it! My new sig will be something like Darl181's. I really don't need the videos, though they were nice when the apps first came out (I hope).

Spoilers are what my signature is made of! I guess I could change it, I still never found out how to make it say 'spoiler for' whatever.

DrDnar: Will do! I also received my oscope today, so I still want to go over the hardware stuff too. I noticed the HW2 int to be acting a little crazy at times and I want to get to the bottom of it. I will probably be video recording everything then transcribing because I tend to forget alot by the time I write it down.

tr1p1ea: that sounds like the route to take, can assembly programs call library routines as well? DJ Omnimaga: Thanks for the links, I had found the 160x240 mode post and I had also read about 'z addressing' but I could never find the root of it and I didn't know what people were talking about. I never seen it in the data sheet, I'm guessing its something for BASIC? *Sorry* I'm not replying fast enough and I had to change things around a little.

DJ:Thanks for the info! I know nothing about a (the?) parser hook but I'll definitely look into it. It was only yesterday that I learned I couldn't call an app in a BASIC program (at least I don't think I can). I've used hooks on the 86 before, though I never bothered on the 84. tr1p1ea: You were the one to inform me of it, what other 'ideas' have I missed? (I got on the 84c thing a few months late )

5434: You've created more apps for your new calculator in a month than you have for the Android in a year.

I've been updating IViewer recently. v1.1 is out now after I received a bug report by a user named Sean. v1.1 also removes the ram limitation, you can run the app even if you have 0 bytes of ram available. The next version will include an Easy Converter that will allow someone to just load an image and create an appvar without having to format the image or change any settings. The image will use a default 256 color palette based off the mac os palette. Then there will be the Developer Converter that will allow all settings to be manually adjusted. This can be used for viewing sprites/backgrounds/titles and can create an assembly file to be added straight into the program. I also plan to add huffman compression and I was thinking about including an IViewer assembly program that can be called by BASIC and other assembly programs to display title screens and images for them. I don't know if it would be fast enough to be used for sprites, but I'll create some speed test videos to help judge that. The N,X, and Y variables will be used to determine image and location. Does anyone have some requests or suggestions?
*Thanks to tr1p1ea, the Easy converter will now use his convention removing the need to even have a palette at all. His palette is better than both Windows and the Mac OS. Congratulations! tr1p1ea beats Bill Gates and Steve Jobs and his name will appear in the app somewhere (probably replacing my blog address)!

It was originally planned to be a little more advanced than just a speaker Now, I don't know how its going to turn out. I have to get rid of asynchronous serial because it's too hard/impossible to implement in BASIC programs. I might need that USB to serial converter to implement the clock pin. I have to do some more testing this weekend, believe me, that 'nice regulated 5v' supply is easier said than done I have to convince the calc that it's a peripheral and without having the clock speed for USB it might be a little tough. I may just have to change my initialization code or something but then I still have to figure out a way to control the D+ line or write a new communication protocol. I've added some code to Buttonz to create a demo video. Right now I'm fighting with the interrupts because they want to act all crazy when they see a halt instruction.

Looks awesome tr1p1ea. That ploygon test looks especially amazing, I can see it used in first person games. Thanks for the tip on the color convention. I'm probably going to use it in IViewer as an 'easy' image converter option. It would match up the colors as close as possible, cutting the size instantly in half! Now I know who to go to for graphics

Got it. I would love to have my own scope that I could use whenever I wanted, I was ordering a DSO nano today.
