General Calculator Help / Opening a TI-Nspire CX CAS
« on: February 13, 2012, 08:13:00 pm »
I've been trying to open my calculator, but I can't seem to do it.
What I have been able to do is remove the two screws on the bottom back of the calc as well as the 6 screws that are under the battery in the battery compartment. What do I do from here? Are the two screw-looking things that are under the battery cover but not under the battery part of the process? They don't seem like any normal screwdriver would be able to take them out...

Don't worry too much. The TI-Nspire has just so many buttons lol . I didn't even realize there was a Catalog lol.
XD LOL

edit:  DJ_O, did you ever play the gbc4nspire?  If you did, didn't you notice that the Catalog button could be used as the A button?

Ok, so i got Windows Installer to run in Safe Mode through CMD.

When it finished installing, I executed the program but it kept saying that it couldn't locate the KERNEL32.dll

HELP!!!

edit: Do i need vista or above to install?  Or does it have to do with being in Safe Mode (no admin access :( )

Do you know how many they can give away before they stop?  I don't want to miss out

I only know they have "very limited supply".

Mhm, I included my address with the first two just in case, along with my school and the district name. And really? That's awesome lol. Was it Nathan ______ for you?

Yes, it was Nathan. When I suggested that they include the programming capabilities, he told me that I was not the first to say that, lol. :P

For the third email, don't forget to include your shipping address. ;)

He'll also ask what school you attend since they want to track that info.

Also, if you add in a comment, he'll respond. I actually got into a dialogue with him earlier today. :D
Nice.
I just have problems since one, the computer with internet is the Mac, which the emulator is only for Windows.  Yes there is a windows, but no internet.
Two, not admin on windows so i have to install it and possibly use it via Safe Mode.   *sighs

Anime and Manga / #omnimaga-anime
« on: February 09, 2012, 09:06:29 pm »
Dear all the anime/manga people on Omnimaga,
Juju, ParkerR (where have you been D:) and I have recently created an anime channel that we hope to have grow.
For right now it's a ghost town (obviously XD it just started), but we hope you guys can help with this and make it grow.

Though, if it so happens that there is no activity in the main channel but there is in the anime channel, we have to go to the main to talk
to keep up the activity.

Hopefully this channel won't just turn into some other spam channel like flyingfisch suggested.
Also, it is available on Efnet and Omnimaga IRC servers.

Happy watching! (and reading)  ^-^
