TI-Nspire / Re: nCraft (3D minecraft-like game for the nspire)« on: October 18, 2012, 09:40:07 pm »So I was playing nCraft, and since the start I felt there was something wrong but I could not put my finger on it. But now I can put my finger on it! The blocks are to big and the game seems to "zoomed in". Maybe it is just me but do any of you guys feel the same way?I guess that's mostly since the screen is small and if there were more blocks, like mentioned before, it would take longer to render and would cause speed issues. Could be wrong 93
TI-Nspire / Re: [C] SpeedX 3D reaches your Nspire !« on: October 17, 2012, 08:02:28 pm »@AzNg0d1030 That's not it ; in fact due to the way I display the obstacles they appear two times : one at a normal distance and one far away. So when the place of the obstacles you just avoided change, the place of the buggy obstacles changes too, even if they are far away. It'll be resolved when I'll remove the moirĂ©.o.o got it understand now 94

How do you lose? I watched the screenie, and noticed that nothing happened even when the obstacles are in the middle

TI-Nspire / Re: nMah - Mahjong clone for nSpire« on: October 02, 2012, 10:10:37 pm »http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MahjongAw man... I was really excited that it was Mohjang and not Mohjang solitaire...I didn't know there was another game named Mohjang than the one he ported ^^ The original Chinese tile/card game Mahjong solitaire came from that. (They are completely unrelated though, but they use the same tiles) If you read the wiki for Mahjong Solitaire, it says that it was based off of Mahjong and the solitaire version was a computer game developed in the 1980s. Not the actual 'Mahjong.' (Oh i typo'd the previous post lol not Mohjang, Mahjong FAIL) 100

TI-Nspire / Re: nCraft (3D minecraft-like game for the nspire)« on: September 29, 2012, 05:28:11 pm »Ok for movement (if the touch pad is implemented) how about gliding over the touch pad moves the camera in that direction, and clicking in that direction moves the player. So pretty much the ndoom controls for navigation . But for blocks, scratchpad and doc lay blocks, tab and menu to remove blocks, ctrl and del for jump. Or just have a menu when the program starts up that has options so the user can change the controls. That's my two cents.Lol these were mentioned wayyyy ahead of ya Everybody's got the same general idea for movement. (Though the ndoom part would only be good for looking around, not for moving, or else strafing would be weird. So basically, gliding your finger moves the camera, but not the player) 103
