The logger should be fine - you'll only be able to rewind a few seconds.
Sometimes limitations are a good thing.

Lua will probably be blocked :(. It would be almost impossible to block TNOC I think, but that would explain why it took them this long to release it...

Can you elaborate on what that is a bit?  TIA

And yeah, this is going to be interesting to code.  I'm starting by making the little mini-games that'll determine the ownership of a square.  So far I've made a simple pong game, under 820 bytes ;D

I'll need to read up on how to do a sort of SHUMP, and idk what else from there.
What the hard part is is finding really simple games, easily made 2-player, which are small and fit into the contest rules, I'm not sure pong is one of those but oh well :P
Basically, look up "Tic-Tac-Toe impossible" or something.

I actually have a tilemapping engine in a topic I made a long ago I was given one... Let me find it.
The problem is I only know basic french, I tried the 2nd one which was too complex, and the first one has no platform support, but it's probably my best bet.

For the gun aiming, I am still working on it, but you use the arrow keys.  How it works is you press 2nd to bring up the gun, aim with the arrow keys, and upon releasing the 2nd key you fire.  This can be a bit weird tho... but i don't want the gun to be out all the time so im not sure.  Maybe press alpha to go into shoot mode, and press 2nd to shoot
