I have to keep Windows XP on my bedroom desktop to play games on Steam, but should I add Mint for everyday stuff? I already know the hardware is compatible since it had Mint before, and I usually use the Fluxbox one. If I should get it, which one should I get, or should I just use a different distribution?

I could make interface things like buttons but make them similar to MC's GUI if you need those. I've got both 1.8 prereleases on my HD. This looks like a nice program, I've been collecting legal Minecraft's jars (with and without various mods) since 1.5. The download link appears to be broken though, due to an ellipsis being inserted into it. I most likely wouldn't be able to use it anyway since it looks like a Windows-only program and I'm using Linux.
If you have a good CPU, search for "minecraft water shader", that's a great mod.

Just saw it and was amazed.

Would anyone be able to upload a compiled version? I can't compile since I can't find a free and working compiler other than the weird trial of Student Software.
EDIT: I mean a new compiled one, not the old one in the OP.

As usual I couldn't enter because I don't know how tilemaps work.

8 is even worse at starting, it takes about 3 eons for it to initialize.

Wow, the BeagleBoard-xM is only 150 bucks, too. Then again I got my Pentium 4 to play TF2 with 35 dollars. I'm not sure of "laptop-like performance", since that's actually vague considering the hardware and differences in laptops today.

Amazing! This is probably the first original FPS for Ndless. Maybe do something different than zombies, a lot of FPS'es have zombies. Of course if there's a different twist that would work too. Just the thought of a raycasting FPS from scratch on nSpire is great alone.
Well, I chose zombies because you don't really need a story, you can just start blasting them away, the level design can be simple, and the AI is easy to code due to the intelligence of zombies and the fact they have no weapons.
It would be cool if they could handle weapons like DOOM.

I just have a small suggestion that could possibly be added later. There's a boolean that returns true if the calc is color, but if it's greyscale it returns false, you could make only one slider for the grey level in the color selector.

I've been off of Omni for a few months, and when I came back to see the entry releases, I first played Tag. Some of the difficulty curve is a small bit off, but it's a puzzle game too, and this doesn't make a very noticeable impact on the game's great playability. The overall rating would be somewhere near 9/10 for me. Probably one of the top 3 calc games I've played.

The only problem with Lua is we can't have smooth keypressing like with Axe and Z80 ASM for the 83+ Series. That makes pretty much all classic games not possible to recreate. So finding a proper contest entry is tough
Classic BASIC games would run well though, and be graphically better.

I dropped out upon figuring out that tilemapping damages my brain.

I see the word FInished in the screenshot
I think that's for the execution of something. The OS can't be near finished. ...Can it?
