I downloaded and tried with a TI-83 and a TI-83 Plus ROM files on my external SD card, none is detected.
Not sure if one is supposed to be there, but I can't see any menu when pressing the menu key.
Improvements : if it's not done already, import/export of programs and apps would be super
Couple questions: 1. What device and what version of Android? 2. What are your ROM files named? (Wabbitemu expects them to be either .rom or .sav) 3. Is your extSd considered a secondary storage device? (ie do you have internal storage that acts as the primary storage with an additional sd card) For menus it depends. The setup wizard has a single help menu option, while the main window has several menu options. Sending program types works, exporting is not currently available. Thanks, BuckeyeDude

Hello all, I'm looking for Android users to do a little beta testing of the new Wabbitemu for Android app. Get it from http://buckeyedude.zapto.org/Revsoft/Wabbitemu/Wabbitemu.apk. It would be great if I could get some feedback on any issues encountered, or on any suggestions to improve the app. Currently I'm targeting Android devices of ICS or higher (4.0.4), but I'm curious to hear if it works on Honeycomb or Gingerbread devices. Make sure if you have any issues you say what type of device you have, and what version of Android you are running. Thanks, BuckeyeDude

Ok so if that's not the issue then I'll need some more information about what you're doing. What type of ROM are you trying to emulate, how are you turning on the calc, what OS are you running this on, and when you open the debugger what line is the currently executing?

Wabbit no longer supports any ROM that was dumped with Virtual TI or any other old software. If you don't get crashes or RAM clears, it will show some strange non-calc message in the screen after sending APPs or something.
This is not true, or at least it shouldn't be true. The ROM was dumped with ROM8x. Would that be considered to be old software?
Possibly. Wabbit uses a custom boot page.
ROM8x is definitely not old software, Wabbit uses it to help you dump ROMs itself. Wabbit doesn't use a custom bootpage unless you tell it to. Its preferred to use a bootpage you dumped through rom8x or other software. Greetings. I recently downloaded Wabbit to my computer and I uploaded the ROM to it. The problem is, every time I turn it on, it just says RAM Cleared and it freezes; refusing to respond to any key presses. What's wrong?
Hello Ki1o, Its a bug I created last version. I made a change to make keys more customizable for the 85 and 86, but they fail to register on your first run. I've fixed it but have a couple other bugs to fix before I can upload. There's an easy workaround however. Go to Calculator->Options->Keys from the drop down select emulator and hit reset all. Sorry for all the trouble, and let me know if you have any other issues. BuckeyeDude

I'm posting an updated version tonight let me know if it fixes your issues.
Yes BuckeyeDude, now everything is working fine again!
Many thanks for your continuous updates of the Worlds best TI emulator - if you could still implement emulations for the TI-89/92+/V200 then WabbitEmu would even be perfect! Any chance for this? I know they use a different CPU, but couldn't you use any of the sources of already existing TI92 emulators (like VTI or TI-Emu)?
Yes I'd like to add 68k support to Wabbitemu. However for me it's a huge task. I have no knowledge of 68k development or 68k hardware. I can learn it but it will take a lot of time and work to get comfortable with it and be able to emulate hardware properly.

An excellent find Franz. I guess the hex file I committed to source control was 11.245. I don't recall exactly what changed from 11.245 to 11.246 but IIRC it was related to changes made to work with Wabbitemu's improved hardware emulation. Thus the failures in emulation using 11.245 on a more recent Wabbitemu. This is the reason for the silent upgrades of BootFree, that way users would not be forced to remake their old ROMs that worked on previous versions of Wabbitemu. I've added better logic to that to ensure ROMs won't get downgraded again.

The option to load a new ROM in the WabbitEmu options/ROM tab has vanished!
Yes it shouldn't have been there in the first place.

Wine doesn't implement drag and drop properly, thus the error you see there. To get it fixed, you'll have to talk to the wine developers. As for animated GIFs, I haven't seen complaints with them and I did a quick test, no issues.

This game doesn't appear to run in WabbitEmu btw http://www.cemetech.net/programs/index.php?mode=file&id=691
Apparently it doesn't run in any other emulator either, but it works fine on real 84+ hardware. Has something not been discovered in TI-83+/84+ emulation?
Runs just fine for me?
Apparently it happens with programs using Fullrene. However there are a bunch of people who reported problems in WabbitEmu with Fullrene, so it's definitively a WabbitEmu bug.
Youre going to have to give me either a save state to reproduce it, or some steps. As I said I ran it through Mirage and Ion just fine Also who wanted this?

What does Fix 5 do? I've tested it on a an 84PSE with both bootfree and a real boot page, both of them work. Also tested under both Ion and Mirage, you should really put a title on it.

To check Mode Alpha S, then tell me the boot code version. It will be in a weird font if youre on bootfree. If you can figure out steps to reproduce it, I might be able to fix it, otherwise not much I can do

What did you do? Also are you using a real rom?

Excellent to hear. I haven't had a lot of time to play with this more (except to break it of course). Next up on the todo list is getting a nice interface for getting you a ROM, and then starting to add in some of the options that regular wabbit has. There won't be a debugger, there's no real point for mobile devices. Once i get a decent interface i'll put it up on all the markets that exist
