Gotcha :D Is it still going to be stationary or are you going to make it smoothscrolling?  Same sprite size?

Will, but what I mean is that as soon as you access the second page of Ram, every part of your program is gone, because its in a different Ram sector that you don't have access to anymore

Gravity gun is just some client code working in line with the Physics Engine though right?

How could you use OOP in an Axiom?

Alright, go for it :) I would suggest working on that *after* you get the physics system up tho, this engine seems to be even more complicated than the previous XD

True, but where is your program?  It was in the *other* ram, the one you just swapped out of :P now you have 10 buffers and no code! :D

Wow that sounds a bit out of the scope of celular automata, I think you would be hard pressed to find some simple enough rules that would work well enough to cause waves when you jump into it :P.

Also, remember that the fire effect is a screen effect, so it might be difficult to get certain sprites or objects to be on fire

Yeah, but you have to swap into it, after which you lose the other 3 buffers :P

Yeah, I get paid on Friday, and I am also getting a new laptop (paid for by parents cause this one is overheating :P) So in general it will be a day of much good gifts to be had! ^^

Methinks using the 35 magazine with the stampede is a lethal combination >:D

Where would the memory for the 4th buffer come from?

wow that would be crazy cool!  Water might be questionable tho, since it doesn't really do much for standing water, probably only as an effect then?  Or would it be actually physically interactive?  Like fill up the bucket to tip the teeter totter

My friend got the Longstrike and my other friend is also thinking of getting them.  Me, I am attracted to the giant 35 bullet barrel >:D especially useful in fights, reloading happens few and far between :P

Coolio :D What kind of features are you planning to have in your engine?

Hah true, that comes later.  Meanwhile have a gander at the title screen I am developing :) It is still in development, as I am trying to think of something good to fill up that space without detracting from the look of the screen (i might just keep it empty) and I am in the middle of coding the various menu's as well.  Because the next release of Nightmare will have enough levels to warrant having level codes :] Note that the actual menu is slightly animated, with the text and background flickering and shifting creepily :]

Wow I'm so glad you are picking this up! Are you rewriting the physics engine as well?
