shmibs that is so true, that post should be framed. I am somewhat less elegant with words, so I shall merely say I hope that we can all strive to be better, and not punish ourselves for not being perfect.

There is another advantage to the LUT method, you can have data that contains zeros Also, if you do the manual tally method, you can leave off the terminating zero's that Axe automatically adds when you do ->Symbol, saving a byte for every entry.

That is really cool! If you drag the lines too far does the curve become dotted? Or are you using some awesomly clever algorithm to make sure the curve is always continuous?

Are these for slime or that other game you were talking about posting? Either way, I'm no expert spriter either but those look so hard to fit that much detail down to something with 9 times less pixels I like phenomist's version, are the arrows absolutely necessary?

i still think it would be epic for this game to be ported

Maybe it can put in a check where if it moves a piece into a spot that can be attacked, any points that the piece could take would be ignored. Like if it saw moving the night could put it into danger, it would ignore that it could also threaten the queen because it would know that it would not be able to carry out the capture

Thats the biggest problem I have with the puzzles right now (or at least the ones released) Even though I can get the concept behind them, it takes near perfect precision to pull it off. I think the puzzles should be more focused on logical and puzzle elements than pixel perfect precision
