To find the location, do this.  Zeros(6000)->GDB1.  GDB1 now holds the start location of all the zeros.  To create an appvar, you could do something like this:

GetCalc("appvNAME",6000)->P
Copy(GDB1,P,6000
Archive "appvNAME"

I agree with DJ as well, you have good points, but you can put them in a way that sounds less like you are insulting the intelligence of everybody working on the project, and more like you are offering your help.

You should have a header for custom levels, and only display those with the appropriate header.

Yes I do have this in place, but for the purposes of demonstration I disabled it so you guys would have something to see :)

Yeah I copy the names of the appvars into savescreen before displaying, although theoretically i guess, you could write routine to read them directly from the VAT

Holy shit, that is one of the most awesome things I have ever seen! :O Mad props, that is so sooo epic!  Love the screen shake especially, it really gives it the final touch, and seals the deal ;D

Oh, and what do you mean Pxl-On refresh the screen?  It never refreshes the screen, only dispGraph does that :)
