We have to clear our variables?  That just sounds 54 bytes of data that could be better spent elsewhere imho, would we be marked down if we did not?  With all these extra votes in specific categories, its kinda feeling to me like a program could win specifically because it is catering to those specific needs.  Since there are going to be so many programs, the votes are going to be spread more thin than usual, and maybe it would be best just to leave the winner to be chosen by the masses instead of specific categories that give specific points?  Just my 5 cents

It might not need interrupts.  All you need is to have each piece of code run one after the other.  Interrupts should only really be needed where one piece of code needs to be run at extremely specific speed right?  Or where one of the pieces of code can have highly variable runtimes.

Wow, well he should have definitely asked for your permission, but its cool how you two are working together to polish it up :) On a related note, if you were sick of scrolling through so much code, there is a way to split it up into multiple subprograms, which can make everything significantly more manageable :)

I like it :D I also second the idea for only redrawing the part of the map that changes, and exploiting Horizontal and Vertical for quick scrolling.  If you can get it to work, the speed boost is palpable :)

no but if you have the right adapter, you can plug headphones into the I/O port and listen to music :) or you can hook it up to the stereo using the right cable and rock out :w00t:

Even more progress in the shadow area, now every light in the game can cast shadows!  Yes that means that even lights placed in the level cast shadows across objects and terrain :) A lot more progress has been made on the scripting as well and Level 1 might be ready for upload soon if i don't run into any snags.  I also have the first weapon implemented ^-^ I really wish Greenfoot would support volume control though :| It would be so useful.

[Pic1]->Str1 will import the 767 bytes at Pic1 into the Axe program, and Str1 will now point to that data :)
