Site Feedback and Questions / Re: "From Omnimaga" in Omni-member programs?« on: July 25, 2010, 03:34:20 pm »
I think it all depends on how the advertising is done. But on a whole i am for it. I myself have a 'company' logo i always put up my games (Angle Productions) but i think adding in Omnimaga.org into the credits would we not only acceptable but a great idea for people who want learn more about the game and possibly even report bugs or reviews.

The Axe Parser Project / Re: Features Wishlist« on: July 25, 2010, 03:23:16 pm »
That should be very easy to implement, since it has a direct assembly counterpart. Also the Label thing might also be really nice. Whaat say you Quigibo?

News / Re: Omnimaga holds Axe Parser Programming Contest (RULES UPDATED JULY 17TH)« on: July 25, 2010, 03:19:45 pm »
Currently the only judge I am aware of is myself But as the time draws closer we should be creating a board of judges to judge the programs. This will be coupled with a community Poll.
And as for Dj, unfortunately his profile has been active for a while now, although he has disabled PM's and currently lacks the motivation to keep posting here. For now at least i think he wants to be left alone... 3665
TI Z80 / Re: Hatchet« on: July 25, 2010, 03:10:15 pm »Quote This year, there is only one category: Axe Parser. The theme of this 2010 contest is simply a game of any kind. There are no restrictions on game genre: you can program any kind of game you want, as long as it's written in pure Axe programming language. There are also other mentions of it being a game throughout the rules, although it never specifically states that it *cant* be something other than a game. I think the category was restricted to games in order to make judging more fair. Games can be judged on things like playability, speed, concept, memory to gameplay ratio, and things like that, but not all of those can transfer to other programs like shells, Mandelbrot explorers, or indefinite equation solvers. You could always pick up Half life for Axe 3666

Web Programming and Design / Re: RFG Image Uploader« on: July 25, 2010, 01:51:35 am »Hooray Animated Gif's work :] Excellent job {AP}! And may i assume that once a page is loaded no further toll is taken on your server? Otherwise if a gif ends up on a page like the main page things might get nasty perhaps o.O 3669

Portal X / Re: Portal X« on: July 25, 2010, 01:05:33 am »
Yeah the compression is only half as small as using half byte compression, so its not * super maniac* compression, but when your trying to include as many levels as possible it sure helps a lot

Miscellaneous / Re: School pranks« on: July 24, 2010, 03:39:31 pm »
The worst things we did were:
1) Put a folder named "Top Secret" onto the Desktop, screenshot it, set the image as desktop, then delete the folder. The result? A top secret folder that cannot be accessed, deleted, or moved 2) Use the Ctrl - Alt - Up trick to flip the screens upside down 3674
Portal X / Re: PortalX Screenshots« on: July 24, 2010, 03:12:00 pm »
Are you talking about the top 3? I used CalcCapture to take those old screenshots, thats why they are a different Color

General Calculator Help / Re: Help with sending new OS to TI 83+ SE« on: July 24, 2010, 03:00:40 pm »
If i remember correctly, a friend of mine had a problem similar to this happen to him. Whenever you press Y= or Graph at the same time, either Ram clears would happen, garbage everywhere, or corruption. Often times it would just clear Ram on its own I dont think we were ever able to fix it
Hopefully a new OS will solve your problem |
